profile too big to save
Archive: 12 posts
While playing levels, I now keep getting an error message pop up: "profile too big to save". the msg suggests I delete objects from my library, however I can't figure out how to do that (please help a dummy). The error msg (of course) pops up at the worst possible times and ruins level play. Can anyone help? (and how can I avoid making my 'profile too large' in the first place?) | 2009-01-16 00:15:00 Author: ve5cma Posts: 2 |
Ok , go into create mode and go into goodies bag and go over to cumminty objects and then you have to delete every object you don't want one by one to do so just press square or triangle and scroll down to delete | 2009-01-16 00:21:00 Author: Thee-Flash Posts: 3154 |
I'll take your advice. & Greetings from Canada... | 2009-01-16 00:37:00 Author: ve5cma Posts: 2 |
You can also put your works/objects into One level ... rename it as item backup or anything you want ... Lock it and Publish. You can then delete all the things that you placed on that level but still have them (in a way) ... you just need to copy your backed up level to your moon whenever you need some of the items you stored. Oh and greetings from Europe . Its daytime there right? | 2009-01-16 00:40:00 Author: Senrir Posts: 126 |

And most of the items you've gotten from levels probably suck. You'll also feel a lot more organized. ^_^ | 2009-01-16 02:37:00 Author: Unknown User |
Is there some overall specific limit to the size of the file? In my case, it's not the inventory stuff that gives me this message, it's the editor; I tend to create backups of levels Im working on every now and then.... just incase I make a REALLY stupid mistake I cant quite fix..... and after a few of these, it'll give me the error. Granted that's my own fault of course, haha, but I just wonder if there's any specific size limit anyone is aware of. It can be *really* annoying. | 2009-01-24 08:45:00 Author: Bridget Posts: 334 |
Is there some overall specific limit to the size of the file? There is a 5mb maximum save file size. I think this file includes downloaded costumes and story mode progression, offline high scores, your pod decorations, costumes worn and saved, hearted things, levels saved on one's moon, objects in "My Objects" and "Community Objects", all stickers and photos taken, level keys, both yours and other people's you have collected... It's a lot of stuff to put into just 5mb. Having a large number of back up files for levels can overload it, as can too many stickers, costumes, photos, objects (both your own and community ones). Maybe some day they might find some way to make it larger, but the current theory is it's so small so that it can connect and relate to the server faster. Increasing the size might increase the lag. | 2009-01-25 02:12:00 Author: Elbee23 Posts: 1280 |
yea I never had a problem with that until I accidently played a level called "200 free community gifts" or some such crap... | 2009-01-27 03:32:00 Author: Madafaku Posts: 738 |
