Of course not, it'd just be a video of a room otherwise!

Yes, I too tend towards the skeptical. It'd be awesome to see it done though.

ya, usually with stuff like this they will show some video footage... i find it very weird they dont have any like "here is a stapler...now look as we place the "w/e" over it....bam!" its invisible...kind of strange they dont want to show off their work2009-01-15 23:51:00

Actually, I have seen a few examples.

Albeit, it was some scientist dudes standing outdoors, holding a body-sized rectangle where it matched the area behind it, and there were shots alternating between, "Hey, here's my head and arm, and here's this big rectangle I'm holding in front of me that happens to be disguised as the ground behind me. And my feet. Whoops." and "Here's a screen in the middle of nowhere, which happens to match the area behind it."

Then there was another where someone did something involving using the inside of a cheap rain parka and a projector. Which was pretty lame.

But yeah, I'll still need to see it before I'm declaring any value to it. And I still have my sights set on OctoCamo.
