I know, I know, another thread by me. I'm just wondering if anyone else feels the same. Don't get me wrong I loved Stephen Fry in LBP Vita and the first 2 games. But in LBPK he literally talks on every single level you unlock, every menu selection, in the popit, in the introduction and ending, not to mention we have to also sit through tutorial videos of him talking. It wouldn't annoy me so much if he didn't continuously replay until you listen fully to what he has to say. I don't know, I just find his narration a little too overwhelming while playing through the story mode and navigating menus. I KNOW what Story Mode, Community, Recent Activity, etc. means. No need to remind me... the game should be able to tell if you're a returning LBP player. And I'm going to have to guess that he'll also be narrating in Playstation All-Stars for Sackboy's story since he doesn't talk. Is this a weird thing to get annoyed by? :eek:

The only problem i had at first was, i was so used to instantly jump to the next level after finisihing the previous, and since you cant cancel loading i missed out on a few of Steve's bits so that was annoying but afterwards, it felt like he was my co-pilot or sidekick in my pod for story

No need to remind me... the game should be able to tell if you're a returning LBP player. Even though I LOVE SF, I do agree with you with an option to know if your an old player. But even time I hear him, he's always talking something new

I like Mr. Stephen Fry! may I ask if you knew of him before Littlebigplanet? Since I grew up with him on telly and being basically a celebrity, every time I start a new lbp adventure its just like an old friend back with me, what a legend : )

The fact that it is Stephen Fry, however, makes me love the game that much more. In fact I'm wondering if there's a way to go back and replay some of his 'commentary' bits without starting a new gamesave.

I've don't quick searches on him before but I've never seen any of his work. So he's pretty much 'that LBP guy' to me right now, not so much a celebrity. Funny you say that, I was also wondering if there's an ability to replay his little messages. Well maybe if I get to know who he is a little bit more then I wouldn't get ticked off so easily. At least I can say one good thing: He is FAR better than that aussie chick from the Move Pack. Her narrating was atrocious!

I always wondered if they included him in the Japanese/Spanish versions. I'm curious... even though the guy talks in Spanish does he still have an English accent and English humor? Well, the accent is... not really sure. I guess he's from Spain, as traductors for that language usually come. The traduction is basically literal, so yeah, I hear the same English irrelevance but just in another language. EDIT: ME LIER! This guy must be from Mexico (wheee) because he has not trace of Spanish accent. Aghh, had to change the console's language to English to stop hearing that guy. Jeje, Stephen's voice is so much more tolerable. Sadly I just finished Story Mode, but meh.

I still enjoy his whimsical statements... the first time i hear them anyways. having him prattle on every time you move around on the earth/moon/community menus gets pretty bothersome though...

Stephen Fry read all the audio books for the Harry Potter series (the original British versions), and I absolutely loved them. And since he's the 'voice of LBP', I can't even harbor one ounce of ill will toward him, even if he has a great heap to say. I'm just so intrigued by the way he says everything (which may not be entirely his doing, and some credit should go to the writers).
