Another PS3 or Vita discussion.

There's already a topic on this, but i don't feel like replying to that with a whole new question is going to get me much answers. Also i think doing that would kind of make me look like an ****ole. So i decided to make a new topic (please say it's ok! )

Since i'm almost at the point where i'd get, like, 200 ?, i could afford a secondhand Vita or PS3.
But, it would mostly be for LBP.

I don't think i will like the touch controls in LBP Vita and playing on a TV screen will look much better. But, a PS3 is somewhat more expensive than a PSVita. And the Vita has more options to create stuff.

I don't want to let the PSP community die out, so i wanted to make levels on that too. But getting a PS3 would rather make me play on that. With a Vita i could choose to do both.

But what should i choose? I really have no idea... they are both great choices. Help!!

Vita has: LBP Vita & LBP PSP.
PS3 has: LBP1, LBP2 (free on PS+) + Move & LBPK.

With LBPV you can create, whenever you want and where you want, easily take HQ photos create touch-based levels and stuff.

LBP2 also has the right tools, you can play on a big TV screen in HD, create things with your move controller, has more community levels and probably better online multiplayer.
The choice is yours.

well the vita is 250$ and ps3 is 250$ but the 3g model of vita is 300$ BUT If you are at a different country then IDK. (as i have been corrected before on this)

I would choose both to enjoy best of 2 worlds. They are very similar when they want to.
They both work together in cross-play/controller/save/buy (look it up if you don't know)
However if you want to take HOME CONSOLE QUAILITY on the go ( they said home console quality ong the go on assassins creed 3 liberation commercial) then go for the vita if you travel alot.
Both ps3 and vita have some advantages.

Hmm, maybe i'd go for Vita.

And, if you want to know what the price is, i found a Vita for 159,99 € and you would get scammed for a PS3 at that price. PS3's are around 200 or more. But after my birthday i could be able to afford it.

I've only owned my vita for a month or so; I don't have my memory card yet so there's not much I've done on it so far (I've never had a PSP either) - but I'm going to take a guess that you should be able to.

What you'd need to do is transfer the save files from your PSP to your computer, through USB connection. Then you need the Content Manager program to transfer the saves from your computer to the Vita. Here: http://cma.dl.playstation.net/cma/win/en/index.html

Here's a walkthrough that I googled for: http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/52313/how-can-i-move-my-psp-game-saves-onto-my-ps-vita

The game you want to transfer save data for needs to be owned digitally though, of course, since the Vita can't play UMDs. (Discs) That's assuming you can download it from your downloads list for the Vita. I can confirm that LittleBigPlanet PSP is definitely downloadable for a Vita.

Transferring the save data could be done with a PS3 too. I can't do this myself since I don't have PSP, so maybe some one can back up if that is how it works.

Hmm, i can also just keep my PSP. Obviously LBP PSP is downloadable, but that would cost me a lot more money than i was hoping to spend (for the Vita). But thanks for the answer!

EDIT:

Double-posting, sorry. I know there's an edit function but i also want people to see this topic.

Is there some way to test out LBP Vita on the PC, like with an emulator?
