Boosting at the start of a race?

| Hold down your accelerate button and drift button at the same time. The exact moment the countdown reaches zero and the race starts, release the drift button. If done properly, you will get the significant boost you've seen other people do online. AI bots do this as well. Basically, (I'm going to tone this down a bit) if you choose R2 as your gas then at the start of the race, hold down both R2 and X, when it says go, you release the X button.
