i got the game litterally 2 hours ago, need to know if it is safe to play now and redeem the online pass

Online Pass and pre-orders can be redeemed and working, only thing that isn't working is costume transferring from 1/2/Vita

The game was officially released on Tuesday. You didn't necessarily get it early. Go ahead and redeem your online pass and enjoy.

If you're not in the US region, then yes you definitely did manage to get it early. Have fun! It's a great game. Online Pass and pre-orders can be redeemed and working, only thing that isn't working is costume transferring from 1/2/VitaLBPK costumes (e.g., the rare jersey, the Target racer, etc.) are already working in LBPV and LBP2 though, which is a nice little bonus.
