Hey guys here's another one for you, it's probably my most impressive level yet (from what the reviews say), it's called Starfighter 707! It's been published for some time now but I never originally planned to post it on any forums, but this amazing feedback has made me think otherwise. Basically it's a single player wave based space shooter. The main and only objective is to kill enemies, survive waves, and collect points, which can then be used to purchase the many varied upgrades from the upgrade store. You'll start off with nothing but a small bullet firing cannon, but will gain access to various missile launchers, core upgrades, thrusters and even more cannon types. Some of the weapons will become absolutely beastly after a few upgrades, hence becoming extremely costly to upgrade further. You'll need them however, to compete against the ever attacking enemy ships, which start from small bullet firing cruisers, to larger beam firing mechs, to huge homing missile firing satellites. The level can be played for pretty much as long as you like, there will always be more upgrades to save points towards, unless of course, you play for about 3 hours and have accumulated enough points to have bought everything there is, and believe me, that takes a lot of time and skill. There's just a big open square area as the map giving you lots of room to cruise about. At any time you can use triangle to access or leave the upgrade store. Whilst in the store the game will literally pause so you won't need to worry about dying while buying. Every 10 waves there's a boss ship and a music change, and you'll get points for reaching a new wave, the higher the wave, the more your score will jump. It seems to be a very addictive game, I myself, and quite a number of people have found it very difficult to stop playing. Many have also suggested it be Mm Picked! Oh, and if you play, it would be ace if you skim through your popit colours, just for the extra awesome customisation option.
