Yeah it is a mess. Gotta get everything again. Had 80% of prizes. I lost maybe 5 hours of work on a pair of levels but that will be about 2 hours of rework since most of it was figuring stuff out.

All my uploaded levels are still there and I can download them to edit them.

PlayStation Plus cloud backups aren't going to come too soon for me.

I can't wait for this. It's coming this month I think.

Three years of playing lbp psp, taught me to back up my profile regularly.

Hey VJ! How do you bakup your profile? I haven't figured out how to do that yet... And I wouldn't want to lose a 100% game completition. You know, it happened to me once in LBP PSP. And it was a total nightmare. I went mad for 2 weeks, escaped the madhouse... But now I'm cured. Am I? :arg:2012-11-03 02:57:00

you do it via content manager to a ps3 or pc with windows installed with the content manager assistant. There is a backup option.2012-11-03 03:15:00

Ugh I really want to back up my vita but it would take forever because it would need to transfer 25GB. Why can't I just back up an individual game!?2012-11-03 20:26:00

You can, you don't have to transfer your entire memory card.

Just select lbpvita when you go to content manager.

Takes about five minutes.

It backs up the saves by doing that? I don't really see why it has to transfer the entire game though.2012-11-03 22:55:00

On a positive note - I got to play through the whole game again with a purpose. Just the base game is really fun by itself.

Took about 5 hours to get about back to where I was.

And yes - PS+ cloud saves can't come soon enough. I could easily have lost 20 hours or more of work.

I've had the music player running in the background a lot lately. It might mess with saves because sometimes my changes weren't quite saving right. It may just be user error. I was playing music at the time of the crash.

If you get a corrupted save message don't do anything other than shut it down, load it in safe mode, and rebuild the database. That is your best chance of recovering the save.

Oh wow, I'm usually cautious with my data--backing up my PS3 profile regularly and the like--but I haven't even considered it for LBP Vita until I saw this thread. I was wondering how the Content Manager app worked; looks like I'll be backing up my profile daily.2012-11-04 20:12:00
