I think i've created some form of... liquid
Archive: 10 posts
I had a quick look around, and couldn't see this mentioned anywhere... sorry if it's old! Anyway, I was messing around in create mode earlier, and I managed to create some form of stodgy semi-liquid accidentally. This is how I did it: 1. Choose some Basic Sponge... and a shape (I used squares) and make it as small as it will go. Now stamp down some of these individual squares... highlight, copy paste... etc until you have loads like so: http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/5816/rimg0156dd7.jpg 2. Close your popit, and watch them all fall together into a goop: http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/6429/rimg0157hg0.jpg http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/3743/rimg0158ho0.jpg http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/3331/rimg0159dy8.jpg The thing I found coolest was that when you walk through it... it actually SOUNDS like water or something. Either it's just some amazing glitchy coincidence, or do MM have EVIL PLANS? | 2009-01-14 23:27:00 Author: Splapp-me-do ![]() Posts: 86 |

Yeah, I noticed something similar when I was messing about like that myself. Huuuuge coincidence if the sound of sponges rubbing together just happened to sound exactly like water. | 2009-01-15 00:22:00 Author: Ace ![]() Posts: 118 |

how full was the thermometer at that point because when i tried it filled up crazy fast even with squares. The major themometer issue when you do something like that is not the corners, it's all the movable objects. As soon as you start gluing them together it'll dropp really fast, but when they all are loose the engine needs to do ALOT of fysics calculations which fills the thermo, even if they never move. | 2009-01-15 07:00:00 Author: Marklin80 ![]() Posts: 458 |

I tried this myself..... that's actually really neat! Not so much liquid, but it seems to me more like a muddy, gooey substance.... and that noise is just right! I can think of some interesting uses for small portions of this stuff, particularly since it "sticks" like that. | 2009-01-30 05:13:00 Author: Bridget ![]() Posts: 334 |
