If you take pictures of glitch or bugs in the levels to show them to me on the forum, don't forget to delete them in lbp, because I don't want this pictures to make people think my level is full of problems, when I've already fixed the glitch or bugs. Thanks for your comprehension

Thanks for playing this levels, don't forget to tell me here what you think of them. Cheers!

Thanks a lot to both of you, can't wait to hear what you think of them
And I'm glad to know that people are waiting for the next acts of my Houdini levels serie, it's giving more desire to continue making it.
By the way Act 3 is almost done, and it will finally been inside the house (can't tell where exactly ), contains new gameplay elements with a creatinator which throw rabbits (like magicians putting rabbits out of a hat ) and certainly a boss fight with the Rabbits Mom (can't tell more or you won't be surprised while playing it )
Hope more people will play my levels, and tell me what they think of them here

Yes, I remember it, when we both published our levels, both in naturals ambiances. It's was really fun to see our levels being famous at the same time in the community. I've already queued your part 3, and remember well how I was greatly surprised with the first part of BTR, whe the leaves fall down from the trees at the beginning and all the rest of the level. I'll follow your work for sure.
Come back to tell me what you think of my new levels. I'd like to know

Hey man I just played your series and here is my feedback:
Level:1
I really like the acid them with the forest like feel it really had a nice atmosphere to it and I liked the music you had along with it.
The gameplay was fun, the length of the level was perfect wasn't short nor long.
and overall it was definitely worth playing

Level 2:
When I first played this level, I automatically knew who you gotten your theme from and half of your gameplay from which was from L1ghtmare's level "La casa de las Rosas" level. I understand if you got inspiration from the level, but copying some of his gameplay gets a rate down the list for me. Some areas I seen your own gameplay and other's I seen majority of lights just without the lawnmowers. It was still a good level but couldn't enjoy it much cause felt like I was play lights level and not yours.

Another person commented on the same thing "Slufoot_48".

Overall your series got nice visuals and was fun playing but part 2 kinda made me just stop playing mid-way after I seen most of the gameplay sorry about that. Keep up the good work though. Should probably put who you got your inspiration from in the description also, so people like myself don't get the wrong idea that you were making it look like yours completely.

I see what you mean, but I never get the intention to just copy Lightmare's work to say it's mine. It's clearly impossible to me, due to the fact that La casa de las rosas is one of the most known lvl in lbp, and has been Mm Pick, so most players will know that I was under influence when playing my level. I've been clearly influenced for both gameplay and graphical aspect, but I see it more as an "hommage" to his amazing contribution to the community, than a steal of what he done.
When reading your comments, I've got the impression that for you most of the gameplay is picked from his level, when it's only two or three elements that are clearly really near some gameplay elements of Lightmare level. The big wheel under the house, the moving platforms before the X2 zone, and the platform that the player has to make come down with R1 to walk on it. Apart from this three they are only personal and "original" gameplay parts in my level.
For the graphical aspect, I really did most of the stuff before La casa de las rosa was published, it's the first level I've work on when wanting to begin a serie about Houdini, because I was wanting to make a level where the player has to go from the top to the down of the house, again and again to finally reach an entrance to Houdini's house. I really love this idea, and it was determinant to me when thinking about a new level serie. It was kind of the center of the project, and you can see it in the first act, when the characters speak to sackboy that it was always question of it : Finding an entrance by climbing the house! This idea is at the origin of my level serie. And when I've played La casa de las rosas after it, I was like "Whooo! By seeing this level I can totally improve mine!". So I recognize I pick some gameplay idea, get clearly inspired for the graphical aspect at a lot of points, but this level is still from one idea I got at the beginning.
It's also hard to make a completly original work in Lbp, because we are all limited to the same tools and materials, or objects, and they are so much great level to play, that at some point it's hard to be completly original. Yourself you done a level that can be called a "copy" of Outland, but I'm sure that for you it still an influence and not a copy. And your level is great to play, even for someone who has play Outland.
At the same point I really love your level Vinery, but I can say that I've already seen the moving platform on the water in other levels. In Lbp you always find some similitude in most of the levels, and it's really hard to be original.
This level I've done was influenced by Lightmare work, like the work of other creators. But is in no way exactly like Lightmare level for an all part, I've just played my level and watch Lightmare level at the same time and it's impossible to say I completly copy his level. I've got only inspiration for the style of the level at some points and for three gameplay aspects, with one which is different and similar at the same time, and the two others that are not Lightmare copyrighted but gameplay elements present in almost all the Lbp2 platformers from the story level to the community level.
For my first act it's Luos_83 that inspire me, and in the third that I'm actually making I'm influenced by Mnniska. This three creators are the ones that I prefer, and a real inspiration for me, and when I use this inspiration it's not to copy them, but more to say you're work is so great that I can't see it without changing the way I create in Lbp, because playing your levels is always like a punch in the face
I hope you'll be able to enjoy my level now that you know my point of view.

But I will definitly put a word about Lightmare in the level description, I've think I already made it, but apparently missed to do it.

Hope you understand me, I really love all your levels, and Vinery is one of my favorite

I've just come to my lbp.me level page and find two comments about the fact that I almost completly copy Lightmare work, and they are both coming from GhostCreators like you. It's pretty rude for me, I've work almost two weeks on this level, put a lot of myself in it, and now when people will read the comments of the level, they'll think I've completly copy Lightmare work before even making theire own opinion on my level by playing it because of the GC comments.
I always liked the Ghost Creators, and have really think that it will be great to be part of it, because I really like the idea of good creators with low play helping each other. Now I see how you help me get more play.
I know Lightmare is a friend of you, but I find your comments, pretty rude, even if they are not hatefull at all.

It was a misunderstanding, I figured you copied from lightmare completely but like I said there were areas that were totally yours and not his. I never said the whole thing was a copy if you got the misunderstanding of where I was coming from. I was just saying by at least putting in the description that you got inspiration from such and such creator would let people know playing the level okay he was inspired by "this persons" level and decided to do one similar like it. By not putting it just make it seem like it was just your idea and you just made it look differently is the point I was making. Just like your comment about my Outland level, I put in the description where I got the inspiration to make it from so people know the look didn't come from me. I'll delete that comment off of your level cause on that account is where I played it on not on my sabre_ account. Don't get the wrong Idea the level was still great, it just threw a curve ball at me when I just recognized it being like La casa de Rosas level on first sight.2012-11-04 22:43:00

Ok, I understand it better now I've put this sentence on the level description : "This level is kind of a tribute to Lightmare that is a real inspiration for me like a lot of other great creators." So people can understand better why my level look like a bit like La casa de las rosas.
I was more disapointed by the fact it was written two times by people from GC on my level that I "copy" Lightmare. In a forum when someone tell me about something wrong in my level, it can really help me to improve my level or the description of it, but in the level comments, most of the time even when I change a problem or a bug that someone tell me about, the person who write the comment won't come back to change it after, so people who come to play my level can think there's still bug or problem in my level, or make them think my level is bad, so they don't play it. I'll really prefer when people speak to me in forums, it's easier to answer than in lbp by the way
But I understand the fact that without writting I get inspiration from Lightmare some people can think I steal his work, which wasn't my intention at all. I'll always try to make level the most personnal possible.
I'll also try to rethink some gameplay parts of this level, to make them more coming from me

It's cool to discuss about it anyway. And I'm glad you take time playing my levels

yeah definitely man, sorry if we got the wrong idea. I never thought this was on central until I looked after I played the levels so sorry about that also. Normally I'll message the person personally instead of posting it on the game itsself. Glad we got a clear understanding and yes I did see you changed the description appreciate that. Hope the rest of your upcoming levels come out great cant wait to play the rest !2012-11-04 23:30:00

Thanks a lot
I'll be definitely changing this level the best I can in the next few week (if LBP karting don't take all my time ), for both a more personnal gameplay and visual aspect. I think when creating it didn't appear to me it was so much visually looking like Lightmare level, but now that people tells me, it appears to me it's too close his level. I'll try to change that

Cheers

Thanks a lot to Lbp Central for the honourable mention in Episode 98 of lbpcentral.com's Community Spotlight I'm so glad to receive it. There's no word to express how I'm glad and thankfull for this. Hope I continue to make level that you like 2012-11-13 09:08:00

The other GC creator you were referring to was me. When Sabre messaged me that your level looked too much of a copy cat to his brother's, then I too felt that was not kool. After reading all that was stated before me, made me realize that you were just another creator who tried to create levels from those you admired, such as L1ghtmare's. So deepest apologies from me as well. I did think you have alot of tatlent and it shows from your levels. In fact, if you continue on your trade, you could be the next L1ghtmare. Keep up the great work and I'll be watching for more levels from you to come.

P.S. Congrats on the Honourable mention. I personally felt it was good enough to be spotlighted. Maybe next time and good luck man

I have to say that these levels came very close to being spotlighted. They have great visuals and some excellent, well designed and fun gameplay. I love all the different environments you've woven into your story. Each level looks different and they're getting better and better. You definitely have great potential as a creator and you should have enough confidence in your own abilities to create your own style. I totally understand that there was no attempt here deliberately to copy another's work but it is certainly true that forging your own path and being original will score more highly in spotlight terms. I think you got the balance right with your swamp level btw. Luos may have been an inspiration but you had given it your own twist as well so that it really didn't strike me at the time.

Anyway, well done on the series so far. You're doing a great job and I'm most definitely looking forward to the next chapter.

Thanks for the apologies and the compliments. I understand your point of view, and I'm glad to get the possibility to explain myself about my level looking like La casa de las rosas. Don't know if I become the next L1ghtmare but I hope that more and more people will play and like my levels I've create for hours and hours in lbp, and watched all the levels records on youtube as well, to study the different style and ways to create. With this Houdini serie I'm really trying to find my own style, and as I discover during the creative processus it goes by copying a bit the way to create of the best creators I've seen. But I'm really trying hard to find my own style at every new level I create The next one will be less under influence, and will introduce new gameplay by using the creatinator I've already finish it but due to internet connection problems I can't publish it for the moment I've also modify a bit the Act 2 part 2 but can't publish it either for the moment.
Hope you enjoy more playing my next levels and find it more personal
Cheers

Thanks a lot, hope the next act will be spotlighted, it will be such an honour for me, even If I'm already really glad to have an honorable mention in the Community Spotlight 98, and the last time for my first Houdini act as well
One of the point that I like the most in lbp, is clearly his community, I've receive great advise, help, and compliments while publishing my serie, and hope it will continue like this
As I've already said, my next level will be much more original, with gameplay coming directly from the magic universe of Houdini (can't say more for the moment )

Thanks to you both, can't wait to see what you'll think of the next act, when I publish it

hahaha, niiiice XD
well, I'm sure it did, what I lack besides design is gameplay, I have trouble doing "platformer" stuff that the Users like ~.~
but the problema is, I don't create with a group or series of partners, I do everything solo, so, if you've played my levels PLANT LIFE! and PLANT LIFE! [Act 2], all that, I did by myself, with the exception of one contraption in Act 1 created by Waffle Tech, and in Act 2 where Waffle Tech designed the new lighting system, but either way, I hope you liked my level!

I'll try it for sure I also did my levels all on my own, and know how it can be difficult at some points of the creating process. I'm also more on design than gameplay, and it's really hard to find new interesting gameplay that have never been done before on lbp, or that are just fun to play
I'll tell you what I think of your levels as soon as I play them.

I saw your review!! nahhh, thanks, your very modest! XD
but I seriously enjoyed your levels a whole lot more! XD
however, since I'm working on caves right now for Act 3, it might be alluding to see what I can come up with!
but still, your levels were challenging! the gameplay made it worth the while!
mine on the other hand needs more gameplay mechanics! I need to work on that if I'm gonna get more plays XD
