Not a single level out in LBP2... Yet.

Am I the only one around here...

[Insert meme here]

...who has had LBP2 from the very first day, played it fairly actively, but doesn't still have a single level published?

Tell me I'm not alone with this burden!

I don't think this is an issue at all. So why does it matter?

Because it's been over 1,5 years, and with the time I can invest into game, I could make a great level in less than a week. It's just that I always lose the inspiration when halfway through creating a level.

It's a personal issue, but is there ANYONE ELSE who has LBP2, or rather, who has had it for longer than a year but hasn't made a single level?

I haven't made one yet, and I've had it since the first week or two it came out. I really don't care though, since I wasn't much of a creator until last year, and I just haven't been playing LBP2 lately. I've been playing non-LBP games and LBPV. I had a level in progress on LBP2, but ever since LBPV came out I haven't even played LBP2. Well, that and I kind of lost my inspiration too.

And Apple, I've sorta noticed you posting a comment on a couple new threads lately saying that it's a topic that none of us on LBPC want to talk about, or that it just plainly doesn't matter. I think it's kind of rude to put down some of these threads, this is an actual discussion, no reason to put it down, I felt the same way as FreeAim does a little while ago, because almost everyone has a level published except me, and I've probably been playing more than most.

I was like that too, but some months ago I finally decided to make one.

My tip is to first start doing random things in Create Mode, and to create small levels. Probably, one of those levels will be of your interest. And you'll add more to it. If you don't like it, put it on a second plane and work on anything else. You might reinspirate again for it later.

I'm not saying that this thread can't be started. What I'm saying, is that it's not really a problem if you haven't created a level.

I have a few started and collaborated in a few more, but I have nothing to show for it as of yet. But for me its only been a year give or take some months since I got it.2012-10-26 22:45:00

I'm quite surprised as I've also had it since release and only published 3, one of which was in the first week and was just something small.2012-10-31 21:02:00

It's funny I've had lbp2 day 1 and haven't published a single level, but in the first week of karting I've already published one.2012-11-10 05:39:00

I had this problem until I decided to just publish my english project a week ago even though I made it 1 year ago. I think it's hard to keep focused on a level that you are creating by yourself. It's not like actual programming where you remember the methods/functions easily, you have to have some idea of what things do in your level which makes it harder to organize.2012-11-10 06:28:00
