My first project I've ever worked on so be nice The basic idea is to take down this mysterious organisation known as "The Gears". Obviously most of the things you'll come across will be to do with gears and things like that (I've already got some clocks and stuff) and the enemies will be Gears. You'll learn a bit about the and why you're taking them down whilst you're going through the level. Pretty much from the beginning you're inside their base, which is a giant clock, and you're looking for - wait for it *De Gear*, it's a name in progress. He's effectivley the Head of the Gears who you need to kill. And that's it. I'm not the best level maker (this is my first real one after all) so it'll most likely end up looking a bit odd but I'd like to hear any ideas you guys had or any feedback. Thanks

Okay, I'll be nice, and bump you. Mmmm... Sounds interesting. I would play it! But the clocks need to be cool. Like the one in Super Mario 64, you know, the giant one you jump in. And you need to be able to walk across it! It'd be nice if you could get some kind of machines that work with gears.

Right now, I'm getting ready a prototype of the level with some clocks with a motor bolt (I'll work on some others with proper gears later) But I'm running out of ideas for bad guys who look like Gears.....

Perhaps you can make giant, rolling gears with spikes on them, like Indiana Jones boulders. Plus, what about a gear with some dangerous object between each tooth? I tried that on my other account, and it looks pretty nice. And, a suggestion for a name, "Coghead" or "Cogmire" sounds imposing. Projects sounds interesting.

You could have enemies that aren't just Gears but in the same theme. Immediate things that spring to mind: Gear Stick http://www.carboncopydesigns.com/Img/Products/Platinum/gear_stick_1.jpg How about "axle" you could have a long thin enemy, maybe even put in some sort of Guns n Roses joke. [EDIT] Something like this as a joke: One of the Gears argues with Axle: "Stop being so selfish, you always want to be the centre of attention with everything and everyone revolving around you. Well I've got news for you, everything doesn't revolve around you.... oh wait...."
