not to be confused with that other post- I've been working on a massive open world lbp game to the scale of skyrim/fallout, but I can?t do this myself, just working on the story, side quests, and classes is daunting enough to keep me from giving the levels the care they deserve, so here is some brief descriptions of some content, followed by some jobs that need be done (if you want to do this but not one of these jobs feel free to ask any way we need all the help we can get)

Over all description (subject to change) - our story begins when a mysterious blast of imagination energy ripples across craftworld bringing with it a massive and strange new continent tarri-zalot, why is it here? How did the blast happen? And what happens when two worlds become one?

4 classes- fighter, possessor, mage, adventurer

Various new themes

New powerups

Complete freedom within levels

Mm level quality

A completely new story campaign

Original costumes

An lbp1 found art style

heres some specs for the classes (I plan to rename all of them, leave suggestions)

EDIT:

fighter- combat specialist, plays like a sidescrolling beat em up (smash bros ect), has the ability to climb special materials, has special attacks, can become immune to fire, electricity, plasma,can eat/use items to gain buffers, and can comp his skills to create new ones,

mage- usefull for controling the enviroment, has 4 schools of magic each with 4-6 spells, ranging from gravity wells, to teleport, to cutting through soft materials, has mana, rquires move controler

posesser- can posess special characters/objects scattered throughout the levels, and use their special abilities to traverse the terrain and gain acces to hidden content

adventurer- the basic default sackboy, the only class that can use powerups, controlinators, stickers, and swim, also these things can be used it new ways, sutch as using the grapple hook to pick locks

sorry to be a pain but actually one of the reasons I am looking for help is becuse of the fact that I have very limited acsess to psn, so everything will have to be through pc untill I get high speed again (I have someone capture carding the aplication levels)

I am verry glad to see someone who thinks this is worthwile I verry much hope this doesnt make you change your mind

(give me your e-mail and I can send you some level stuff I've made via backups

while the player will not be forced to use them I have created some default skins for the adventurer and fighter, are they worth giving away?

EDIT:

* UPDATE * - players will have a reputation (<---if the savinator comes to ps3) and achivement based leveling / skill system, players unlock achivements in game and are given stickers to spend at a skill tree level, and by compleating groups of three specific achivements they will be rewarded with a skill depending on wich group they filled (did that make sense?)

if the ability to put in the reputation system arrives it will work like this- players can gain/loose rep by their actions within a level, thus gaining the support of differant factions within that level, plus unlocking missions and other things

as players progress through the story they will come across characters that will be added to the players party, wich can be summoned in a level to aid the player with their unique skills, heres the ones we have so far (will be updated)

-rea, the first permant companion, light on his feet and a gambler by trade, has abilities to bypass locks and uncover hidden stuff

-violet, a shy electro-telekinetic and probably the most powerfull of all the companions, but also quite limited- has abilities to levetate and warp objects she comes across, but has a mp limit

-mirez the sand king, a disgraced king on a quest to save his land, he has not been very well developed in terms of gameplay yet but he is a tank/dragoon style character

-(unamed), an up and coming geomancer that has experiance in combat medicine, has abilites to cast buffs and debuffs and also heal (in a way that lends itself to puzzle gameplay)

-rosie eddy - a crazed girl that is compleatly random, abilities are like a mix of taoakaka and a rouge

-gabreil (spellcheck?)- a carny rocker from carnivalia, has a shape shifting power that im not going to spoil and has guitar based abilities as well
