Speaking of the Fake Ad contest winner, I guess it is only right for us to let you know who won. But first of all we wanted to make sure to mention how impressed we were with all of the entries. Tom and I had an incredible time listening to them, and there was genuinely something great about every single ad! So, without farther ado.. The winner of the Pocket Moon Podcast Fake Ad Contest is: Biorogue with his ad for The Kid Muffler Here are timestamps so that you can skip to specific parts of the podcast if you want to: -- Timeline info -- Overall podcast length: 106 minutes News: 12:40 Forum Soup: 36:30 Survivor Recap: 45:20 The Good, The Bad, and the Pathetic: 1:12:45 Fake Ad Contest Wrapup: 1:21:45 Q and A: 1:28:30 Here are links to all the things that we chat about: LBP Karting Story Trailer (http://popwatch.ew.com/2012/10/18/sackboy-littlebigplanet-karting-exclusive-trailer/) LBPK Trophies announced (http://www.ps3trophies.com/forums/playstation-trophy-news/23669-littlebigplanet-karting-trophy-list.html) LBPK Halloween Pumpkin Carving Celebration (http://us.playstation.com/lbpk-pumpkin-campaign/) Australia wants to send Sackboy into space (https://www.facebook.com/PlayStationAU/app_414700558583159) Mobile app turns LBPV box into an augmented reality game (EU) (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/19/mobile-app-turns-littlebigplanet-vita-package-into-ar-game/) LBPCentral Spotlight Episode 96 (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=74788-Community-Spotlight-Episode-96) LBPCentral Creator Spotlight 29 - Holguin 86 (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=74620-Creator-Spotlight-29-Holguin86) Abe's Oddysee New N' Tasty revealed at Eurogamer Expo (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-09-30-oddworld-abes-oddysee-new-n-tasty-revealed-at-eurogamer-expo) Resident Evil 6 meat stunt (http://kotaku.com/5947404/resident-evil-6-meat-stunt-might-make-you-lose-your-lunch) Weekly Planetarium Edition 35 (http://www.littlebigplanetarium.com/topic/6040-ed-35-weekly-planetarium/) Tuesday = #Queuesday (http://rocketcheetah.com/2012/10/tuesday-queuesday/) LBAudio now has over 48 hours of music! Worse movie? That's easy: Erasurehead. I dare you to watch even this small clip all the way through: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqlqp3OT13U | 2012-10-23 01:27:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
Awesome PMP! Loved it. The Kitsune intro was just brilliant! Sara did an awesome job. Man, I had forgot those questions. Along the lines of the radio question, I'm sitting here listening to PMP on soundcloud (1st time for me!)and noticed that as I'm surfing around the great wide net, that when a part comes on that I want to pay closer attention to, I switch to the soundlcoud tab and stare at the episode like I can see the words coming off of it or something. How weird is that? I loved all the ads people made and will not divulge the winner here. They'll just have to listen themselves. http://www.littlebigplanetarium.com/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.png I did like the winning entry though! Congrats to that guy! Great guests as always and can't wait till PMP 31! Excellent as always gentlemen. Edit: Just noticed that you announced that I won in the OP! DOH! Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate it and am extremely happy and excited. My co-star is quite elated as well. Thank you so much! | 2012-10-23 02:52:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |
Thanks for producing another entertaining episode, guys! Though the implication that a veteran community member has been vandalising user pages on the LittleBigPlanet Wiki is most troubling! One would think that such a vandal would at least have his own userpage (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/User:Biorogue) on which such favours could be returned. | 2012-10-23 03:15:00 Author: Uncuddly Posts: 237 |

I've been meaning to get around to that actually. May have to get to crackin' and that's PAGE, one user page, not pages. | 2012-10-23 04:12:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |

@GribbleGrunger: I just watched 1:50 of that video clip. Can that count as a valid attempt? @biorogue: Yeah, xkappax's intro was incredible! I've listened to it many times The bit about turning the radio down when searching for an address was very interesting to me because I had never even thought about it. And you are correct, we did announce the winner in the OP. We figured that people would just fast forward through the podcast if we didn't tell them in the thread. @Uncuddly: Hmm.... good idea @yugnar: Hope you enjoy the show! | 2012-10-23 12:20:00 Author: amazingflyingpoo Posts: 1515 |
Hey! Eraserhead is a fantastic movie! It's delightfully horrible and creepy. But then again, I also sat through The Room, Birdemic and the Miami connection and thoroughly enjoyed them. I guess I just like bad movies. And thanks to all of you for your comments about my ad that I did. I was nervous. Didn't know if anyone would get it. | 2012-10-23 13:59:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

Worse movie? That's easy: Erasurehead. I dare you to watch even this small clip all the way through:Just... wow. That is truly dismal. I got to about 6:00 minutes and then started skipping forward a few seconds at a time. I spent about 12 minutes total on it, which I think was about 11 minutes too long. | 2012-10-23 19:46:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
The part with the scary bird/baby thing is my favorite. I still have nightmares about that thing. | 2012-10-23 19:47:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

I spent about 12 minutes total on it, which I think was about 11 minutes too long. I've watched this movie all the way through believe it or not. It's seen as a 'masterpiece'. The film was put on hold for three years because David Lynch lost backing for it. There is a scene where a woman comes out of her apartment to talk to the main protagonist and when the camera cuts to a new angle, the actress is three years older! LOL. Spoiler alert: It's called 'Erasurehead' because they make the little rubbers at the end of pencils out of people's heads! GENIUS!! | 2012-10-23 23:20:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
It's one of those artsy fartsy films. I think it's absolute trash, but I think that's why I like it so much. That part where they make the erasers out of henry's head (i think his name is henry) is really weird. And then that part where those things are coming out of the woman... And the lady with the hamster cheeks. Can't say I am a fan of Lynch's "art". I still stand by my statement that Breakfast of Champions is the worst movie ever made though. The Brothers Grimm and Kung Fu Hustle might be close contenders for second, though. | 2012-10-24 02:21:00 Author: xkappax Posts: 2569 |

How's that mullet coming along, AFP? Unfortunately, you can't see that I'm actually wearing a solid snake costume under my sackboy costume under my link costume http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt179/amazingflyingpoo/Sackboy_Link.png | 2012-11-01 11:47:00 Author: amazingflyingpoo Posts: 1515 |
EPIC WIN. It's good to see that you didn't get arrested or, if you did, that the cops are providing Internet access in your holding cell. | 2012-11-01 15:27:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
