Wow. That trailer amazed me. I've never been a fan of Final Fantasy, and have never played any of the games (or seen the other movie with Alec Baldwin). I would like to see this though. Btw, is this a film that would be in theaters, or on YouTube?

I do like how they portrayed a scene that wasn't actually shown in the game (though could happen like that implicitly). And yeah, that giant gun arm on Barret did look silly, as did the wanted poster that has the cartoonish original game artwork as opposed to actual photographs

Looks ok so far except for Barret. They really should had got someone bigger all around for him. if there's one thing I hate and that ruins live action versions of something else it's actors that look nothing like the character they are playing as. Hollywood movies are super guilty of that. fan movies don't matter as much because it's understandable somewhat that it's hard for them to get good actors that look right for the part, though ironic enough they still do better then Hollywood when it comes to picking people who look the part a lot of the time. but still it ruins the experience regardless when the film creators don't try hard enough. *mew
