You are a member of an elite group of ghost exterminators. Hunt down as many ghosts as you can in 5 minutes with a huge arsenal. 2P compatible but will cause lag. Music originally by Jeremy Mayne from the LBP2 Move Pack. HUGE update includes prizes, weapon rebalance, more hidden passages and a secret room

A fitting level in time for Halloween but instead of cowering over random blasts of distorted sounds, this time you fight back against the supernatural. it's a good ol fashion ghost hunt in the way of a score challenge.

Features include

12 Weapons (5 Main, 5 Sub and 2 Special) that can be switched at will
15 Powerups
5 Different Types of Ghosts
3 Very hidden Secret passages
Flashlight system, Search for ghosts hiding in objects.

UPDATE

12 new hidden passages were added (half involve secret teleports) making a grand total of 15
Major weapon rebalance, all weapons received a boost in damage, functionality, ammo capacity, etc to make the game much more fun and make you use all the weapons. It's Too much to list so you'll have to play it again to see the changes.
Prizes (20 in all)
Secret room, the armory holds a super pickup giving 1 of almost everything, finding it is a mystery but rumor has it the passageway to it itself is a ghost

So much was put into this, and I'm hoping i got everything, so if by some chance i forgot to glue something or copyed something wrong, feedback is greatly appreciated. (Havent had the chance to test this in multiplayer)

Notes don't appear in screenshots so you can't see the ammo counter in the pictures below sorry

Great news, JKthree! Will try you level as soon as I can

Here is the link for the help (I don't find it in post above ) http://vita.lbp.me/v/95zbk

And one more - maybe better to do screenshots with PS+start in cases such this, it is a little bit harder to publish, but pictures will be better quality and notes will be visible

just made some minor tweaks (hardly noticable unless you were really paying attention) I found others as well, but I'm a bit hesitant on fixing them cause they are emitted items, and i deleted the originals but i got backups on old versions with the whole capture object corruption thing. I might just wait and see if the issue gets patched in the future first.

But thanks everyone for the feedback so far

I played it earlier today and it was quite fantastic. The menu is nothing short of great, and I am astounded by the sheer number of poowerups and weapons that are in the game. I'll definitely have to try it again and better my score.

The house itself was highly detailed and certainly large enough to contain a 5 minute level. It's clear a lot of time went into each room to give it the visual touches. Hunting down ghosts was also fun, although it did feel somewhat random at times when ghosts would actually appear. I was under the assumption that they would appear when forced out of items, but it seemed they appeared even when not near items.

That made it feel less like hunting for ghosts and more like just shooting the ghosts that attacked you. I think that is one small area that could be improved, but overall this level is wonderful.

Actually that was the point, it was supposed to be more going after the spawning ones, the hiding ones were a little extra, say you had bad luck finding some you could try searching for them with your flashlight.

Great review thank you .

I am considering increasing the spawn depending on more tests with multiplayer (the ones i had were pretty laggy with 2 players), I am also considering adjusting the time stop powerup a bit because hidden ones are unaffected by the freeze (and the spawn stops when in effect making the powerup more bad than good)

I do quite like this level, it's very Luigi's Mansion-esque which was cool. The visuals are simple but don't detract, pretty much what you need in this scenario. Couldn't really fault anything, for what it is it's really fun.

Great work, I think I <3'd it and gave it a

I spent several days on this and gave this level a HUGE update.

Prizes (coming soon, I plan to have 25 total based on skill bonuses and other tidbits)
Secret room, the armory holds a super pickup giving 1 of almost everything, finding it is a mystery but rumor has it the passageway to it itself is a ghost (This is considered the 15th hidden passage)

I removed the 3rd and 4th player because i had no luck getting a group of 3 or 4 in without disconnections and 2 player got really laggy, so maybe with them gone, it might go smoother.

Well as i said i am going to make the prizes over the next day or 2, and unless i find something major to fix it will be the last update. So have fun and happy halloween

Last bump everyone.

Prizes have just been added, I combined a few together so its now 20 prizes (mostly logic, but you never know, it may be something you need or may spark an idea for you)

Few errors been fixed, and 2 tiny features have been added.

Button prompts from the Controllinators so you can see the controls while playing (I had trouble with these in the past and still had some, not all of the controls pop up)

And another is an extra button feature for those who want a challenge or for those who have trouble memorizing the controls for the weapons. If you tap the Triangle button in-game, you'll equip a random weapon (main and sub) that uses ammo (providing you have ammo, so if you have no ammo for any weapon this'll do nothing)

This looks to be the final update so as a little "goodbye" gift, a picture of some of the prizes. The game puts all the Skill Rewards under "Level Complete" and it turned out faded. So sorry bout that, you'll have to figure which ones they are for that

See you soon. I'll be at Karting soon
