A factory themed platformer Im thinking of making

After so many people giving me advice on the Help! forum I think I can make a platformer now! It will be based on A Factory of a Better Tomorrow. Here is my story:
Da Vinci invited Eve for a date, but it hasnt gone so well. Evil sackbots have stolen Eve and Da Vinci's old bones just arent what they used to be. So he called you to help him! Venture through a sackbot factory gone crazy, swinging platform to platform, dodging obstacles, and fighting sackbots. But hurry, you only have a limited amount of time!

Im thinking of putting a boss at the end for a finale. Im making a new thread with pictures, previews of some areas, and information of the level. just thought of this so please, if you have ideas for backgrounds, enemies, bosses, and a name. You can even help me if you want. I live in Austrailia whoch is EST time fliipped. But I am taking Mandarin Chi ese lessons for my trip to China, so Ill be up studying for those Americans who want to help Thanks for reading this!

This is a reasonably original idea, but i love the story. Remember to use grid when making a rigid, artificial level! And heres a thought: instead of having *square* corners, like, at right angles, use two forty-five degree angles.... ya get what I mean? Or used rounded corners.2012-10-16 16:44:00

If you choose to have a boss at the end, I would recommend designing its gameplay around something unique the player would have already experienced during the level. It should be the ultimate challenge of their skill at whatever that particular gameplay mechanic is. Players should feel like playing the level has trained them for this boss fight.
