Publish VS or Co-operative?
Archive: 3 posts
So I am about to publish a level and I am wondering if its better to go VS or Cooperative? It's designed to be played with multiple people and they could either battle it out individually or try to work together to get up on the leader-board. It also could be played solo as well. Is there a downside publishing a versus level? If I publish co-operative there will be scoreboards for 1,2,3,and 4 players. On VS you seem to get the chart at the end but does it compare you with everyone of just the people you played with that game? Is there some global ranking? For those who publish VS levels do you see a major difference from the number of plays you get? Thanks | 2012-10-14 23:47:00 Author: Xenon Posts: 306 |
If VS is the same as LBP2 the scoreboard is completely different. If you are aiming to keep the scoreboard I would go Co-op all the way (I know that you can't get a score alone on VS). It just matters on the actual level though if it just works to have more screens. If it seems decent enough with just one, I would stick with co-op as well. | 2012-10-18 02:19:00 Author: koltonaugust Posts: 1382 |
People tend to play more Coop level, as those levels with the battling sacks that VS levels have sadly become a synonym of useless and bad designed shark survivals in the community. So I'd recommend a Coop level. | 2012-10-18 02:53:00 Author: yugnar Posts: 1478 |
