Some DLC Suggestions, please?

Archive: 9 posts

Hi there LBPCentral!

I have 10 spare euros, and want some LBP (1 or 2, don't really care) DLC. I already have the Muppets Pack, and some suits. What DLC do you think should I buy?

I was thinking of Toy Story level pack plus History level pack, they seem nice, but I'm not sure. I would obviously love the move pack, but I have no move D:

Pirates of The Carribean, Marvel Packs, Tron, Ratchet and Clank are my favorites. Jax And Daxter are good too. 2012-10-11 20:03:00

Think of what kind of levels you'll make. For levels set in temples and such, the History Kit is a good choice.
For modern city levels Marvel packs are more suited and so on ...

EDIT: Ohai Pato, didn't recognize you. :3

Hi there . I've been run over by Touhou recently, so I changed a bit.

I don't really have and idea about what levels to make. I like having lots of materials, and in case of level packs, I would prefire fun levels over levels with lots of good objects.

I think I'll end getting the History pack anyway

The History pack has only a galery level, but lots and lots of stickers and deco's along with some materials. POTC and MGS have some really fun levels. The Monster kit has some handy stuff aswell, but also only a galery level.2012-10-11 20:34:00

Just a question about the MGS Level Pack. When I check the LBP2 Shop, it doesn't appear for me. If I buy it from the PS Store, can I play it with LBP2 or will I need to play it from LBP?2012-10-11 20:45:00

All LBP1 and LBP2 content is playable in LBP2. You can purchase everything safely from the store.

However, if you want to unlock the trophies for MGS or Pirates, you will need to play them with LBP1.

I get the most creative use out of the Monster Pack stickers and objects. For level replay fun however, MGS is my favorite.

If you didn't already know this site has a wiki that might make comparing DLC easier: http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Downloadable_content

Since you mentioned it here's the History Kit page: http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/History_Level_Kit

It really depends what you want to make. Most Touhou levels I've played make extensive use of Sticker Panel material, so even if you don't own a Move it might be worth it assuming you want to make your own.
