Hello there, this is Patofan. Yesterday, I was toying around with Interactive Music (The Wilderness theme, to be exact) and I thought of something. What if we could tweak it directly during game? Right now, if you want to change the layers of the music during the game, you have to create more than one song. That wastes too much space, and is less useful! I think we could do something like this: You over the song and press R1 (like when you open a micro chip). This would open the song and show a little microchip with 6 squares. Each square is 1 layer. And we can attach a wire to each square, to activate it or deactivate it during gameplay. They should also be analogic, so you could control the intensity of the song. Hope you like (and understand) the idea! If you don't understand it, be sure to ask. I'll try to explain it better then.

yes I do wish there was a way to tweak during gameplay like you're talking about, I have been messing with that kinda stuff lately with music seq. and world audio tweakers, and it takes up tons of space and is hard to really control and have it come out like you really want it, I working on a DJ level with kinda that idea with drum machines and sequenced loops etc that your sackperson controls making tons of outcomes so there are lots to choose from letting everyone kinda make there own mix so to say, rather complicated trying to get everything to properly "line up" and catch the beat all together while making it kinda player tweakable/ user player friendly. I do wish there were a few more musical options, like adding a midi keyboard interface, to hook up... let's say a M-AUDIO usb keyboard, giving an easier more traditional way to write the score/music rather than the way we have now, would also be nice.
