I've been IGN'd.

H.A.T.E. has been spotlighted by them in their new article. Thanks to kit07 for bringing this to my attention. Go ahead and comment saying how dumb these people are since they don't come here to play all the good levels when they first come out lol.

And I think this proves the Superlative Contest wrong. I am the biggest showoff. Look at my level! It's so awesome! It's on IGN!

Take that, OCK! I'll beat you at your own game.

(BTW, I want to make sure people know I am just joking. OCK is awesome.)

Awesome stuff. I believe the word I used to describe the level back when I tried it was "epic".

Anyone who believes otherwise should to be stoned to death by stale doughnuts
Well, not really.

H.A.T.E is sooooo good, I remember being inside the electric wheel of rotating death, near the end of it, and I only had a single life left... oh no! I didn't want to have to redo the last 15 minutes of work all over again, but I was certain I was going to die on my way back down... but it turned out to be the final cloister! With the siren beeping constantly, I pressed/pulled that switch and made my way to DESTROY that ring of death. Such a good moment!

Thoroughly deserve any website love you get, dude, can't wait for #2!

awesome- although I never actually got past that wheel (should, though).

AWESOME level, and deserves WAY more then what you have. Hopefully an influx from a major gaming news site will help you.

I got around to playing H.A.T.E. last night! I was enjoying it immensely, but didn't actually finish it (the wheel at the end... the wheel.....). I did have one issue that came up several times - toward the end (9th room I think?), where you shoot down the blocks and then make your way up. You probably already know this actually - but a bunch of red platforms emit. What kept happening was, one would fail to emit because it overlapped my position while I jumped. Then I'd be screwed and have to start over. Unfortunately, this happened to me a lot, and most of these times I fell all the way to the floor. Lost some hairs. Upset some neighbors. Bruised a leg.

After I got the hang of where exactly to jump and when, it got a lot easier and I was able to do it over and over. Have you tried maybe alternating the layers that each platform is on? Each time you need to jump to the next one, have that one emit one layer back, and the next one one layer forward, etc. I THINK that would solve the overlapping problem, but I'm not sure.

I seriously loved this level, except for that wheel at the end. Particularly the last phase where you have to hang onto the spinning red platforms and fall at JUST the right moment. The reason I didn't like this is because if you hesitated, or screwed up, or had to go again, it was a looong wait until you were lined up to try again. Otherwise this level had some of the tightest gameplay I've seen in the game. Way, way better than anything I could cook up. My levels tend to be setpiece heavy, dialogue heavy, situation-heavy, and sort of light on actual gameplay.

Anyway, just thought I'd drop you a line with some feedback. Excellent work though, I'm definitely going to have to check out your other level.

I played it with Voltiare so that was the only reason I beat it (I did beat the wheel though didn't I Voltiare!). Back then after we beat I was tied for first on the high scores. Not sure I'm there now though.
