[TF2] Why are items so expensive?

| So. i was going about my business in tf2. im a genuine collector. so i was buying promos also. then i saw the max's severed head. so. i asked what he wanted for it. and he said 54 keys ;_; and idk why. but why is this so expensive? regular promos are only 4 keys. so why make this one 13 times the price? | Max Heads are expensive because they're not promos. They're used as a currency. They were a promo for Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse, and not many were released, so they're rare. | Thanks. but still... idk why some items are so expensive. @Rabid-coot. Ive never seen a price for max's head lower then 125 dollars in games or 50 keys. plus. prices are almost never bound to go down due to Buds slowly escalating in price. @patofan Why is the max's used as currency... that again. i did see someone using ornament arnaments as currency. xD @spazz The spreadsheet is an AVG price list. taking prices from around 5 different trade servers then making an avg from it. so there not definite prices. | 2012-10-02 23:39:00 Author: TinyMoMo Posts: 132 |
