Welcome to the latest slice of mouth watering Showcase action! We?ve plenty for you to feast on from fantastic animation work to epic story series and awesome platforming. So put down your Vita for 5 minutes and go queue these amazing levels. With creators as talented as this still working in LBP2, there?s plenty of life in the old dog yet!

Before we move onto the levels themselves, however, we?re delighted to announce that deadmn/OriginalCreator has been selected to join the Spotlight Crew on the Vita side following the recent recruitment round. It was an incredibly difficult choice as we had a whole host of really strong candidates. So congratulations to him and commiserations to the rest. We just wanted to say how much we appreciated the intelligent and thoughtful feedback that many of the candidates have been leaving in the Showcase in the last couple of weeks. It's been awesome to see and will stand you guys in good stead for any future recruitment!

http://id.lbp.me/img/bl/52dc3d91228148d9ef904c8ba8ae99aad8a12e56.pngOrdina ry Joe ? L-I-M-IFollow the story of Joe who never thought he was so different, but Ordinary Joe isn't so Ordinary at all as he will soon find out........Enjoy Play the part of Joe, an ordinary fellow who embarks on a journey of discovery and learns he's not quite so ordinary after all. This is another one of those fantastic series that you can just get lost in. Not lost as you can't find your way out, but lost as you will be engrossed with the story. As each new chapter unfolds you learn a little more about yourself and your abilities, which I won't spoil here, but suffice it to say, they're pretty cool. LIMI (no spaces LOL) has done a remarkable job with mixing up the gameplay among the various chapters. You never feel as if you're doing the same thing over and over again and the platforming on hand is really fun. There is a nice variety in the scenery as well and often times I just took a moment to marvel at what was on my screen. This is a great series that you simply have to play. So what are you waiting for? Go find out why Ordinary Joe, when all is said and done, isn't so ordinary.Telekintic Metal Gear Solid... or something. Maybe that was the plot to MGS4. It was a pretty confusing plot. This was a little clearer, you play this guy with a beard that can levitate boxes and change the environment with his mind, and er... other things, things that you will find very handy as you break out of your cell with a combination of stealth and platforming skill. Thoughtfulness and pre-planning are your friends here as well as your more special abilities.I enjoy a good level series and this is a cracker! There?s plenty to hold your attention: a cool storyline, great characters and some laugh out loud funny dialogue. I like a good villain too and No. 1 aka ?The Brain? steals the show for me with his acerbic comments and all round telepathic nefariousness. There?s a great mix of cutscenes and gameplay. The playable sections are challenging, look great and, as Bio said, have lots of variety in them, with nifty puzzles as well as fun platforming and stealth elements. It all leads up to a dramatic climax when the truth is revealed to Joe and he learns that he is indeed far from ordinary. It's a project to be proud of and one you?ll have a blast playing!

In a place where you have to be fast moving and pressing R1._____________ - Creator notes: I got some inspiration of the great @RikiRiki-ita and his fast paced levels. May lag in some places cause huge complexity, I'm sorry for this. 1-4 players level (Turn based system) but is better play it alone. _ _ _- Special thanks: @Comishguy67 for the great music, @Missi_Cat for help me correct the intro,@Alley_Cat_8633 for test the level hardly.Whoa! Whoa indeed. Als_the_gamer really surprised me with this one as I couldn't imagine him toping the first Tech. in Space level, but I believe he has. Like the first one, this one is filled to the rafters with tons of some of the coolest contraptions I've ever laid my eyes on! Have your reflexes at the ready though because this level is fast and a few sections are challenging enough to question your abilities as a gamer. The level is gorgeous, the gameplay..Pfft! Forget about it , it's amazing and the fun is a guarantee. What are you waiting for? Queue this level!
Levels like this are not always easy to review. You get tempted to throw around handfuls of (well deserved!) superlatives ? great gameplay, gorgeous visuals, fantastic design and amazing contraptions. But a list like that fails to convey both the scale and intricacy of the work that has gone into the level and just how much fun it is to play! You get caught up in the mad, whirling dash through the spaceship, oohing and aahhing as your Sack gets catapulted and spun around before your eyes (and sometimes even disappears into the back layer). Reflexes primed, you grab at the last second and breathe again or fail and replay until you?ve nailed the sequence to perfection. It's an awesome, fluid thrill ride and when it's over you just marvel at how it was all done!

http://i1.lbp.me/img/bl/cc1f31b4e8ede3d2fb305f72d1397ebfdaf9fb00.pngBlobby Art-in-Heart(1 Player ONLY) Enter the wonderful world of Blobby! Play as a young pink blob that became lost while playing hide and seek. Help him in his adventure and bring him back home to his friends. Explore the world populated with strange creatures and search for scattered secrets, all with fun new gameplay! Have fun! A big thanks goes to @comishguy67 who composed all the amazing original songs!"Oh, this looks cool, think I'll try this out." *Loading...loading...and enter* "Holy Mother of burritos!" *Ejects LBP disc, make sure didn't accidentally download a game from the PSN store -- nope. reloads level.* This level is simply brilliant. Everything about this level, no, game, is astounding. I'm telling you, it looks as good as, if not better than something you'd buy off of the PSN Store or retail outlet. The story has a great hook but what will blow you away is the gameplay and graphics. He's done such an incredible job of adding in the smallest of details that you'll be stunned into silence. It took me a long time to get through this because I just kept stopping and staring at everything. Listen, I can't put a coherent thought together about this level/game, just go see it for yourself. I'm going to be bold and say this is probably the best level in LBP for this style and genre. This is one of those levels that become an LBP ?household name?; a level everyone remembers for being ground-breaking or just downright outstanding. The graphics are amazing: from Blobby himself ? all his different expressions and animations give him such character and cuteness- to the gorgeous backgrounds where the grass waves and dandelion seeds drift in the wind. The professional standard of the environment is matched by the gameplay which has the depth and coherence of a ?real? game. To echo Bio, you genuinely feel this is a game you could have bought from the PS Store. It's challenging at times, but once you?ve mastered the controls, you?ll become totally immersed in Blobby?s world and in your task of guiding him home through all the perils he meets on the way. Art-in-Heart most certainly lives up to his name and the artistry and creativity in this level are a testament to that.

http://ib.lbp.me/img/bl/05bbdd348d7876e422948ddf1773c88f769f2183.pngMutant MuddsAdel22Mutant Mudds is a 12-bit action platformer full of pixels and platforming fun! developed by Renegade Kid for 3DS (eShop) and PC --- Level: 1 , Players: 1 , Difficulty: 1/5 -- How are these guys doing this!? My goodness, this is unbelievable! Adel has painstakingly recreated, down to the pixel, a fantastic platformer. There are three levels in this series and each one better than the last. You'll play the role of Max, the protagonist in this story, who is out rid the world of the aliens invaders known as the Mudds. The gameplay is fun and engaging but what really impressed me was the animation work it took to achieve this. Amazing. There were certain areas where you had to jump on these specially marked pads that would send you into the background where you had to solve a little puzzle then jump back to the foreground. What!? Trust me, it's awesome. Just grab your weapon and get ready to take on the Mutant Mudds!Wow, another absolutely outstanding piece of animation work! This time it's Adel?s brilliant pixel perfect recreation of a ?12 bit platformer? from the 3DS. As well as the classic 2D side scrolling action, Adel recreates the hero Max?s ability to flip between the foreground and background giving the game a unique 3D twist. It's action packed and fun ? who doesn?t love blasting filthy aliens with a massive water cannon! So strap on your jetpack and hover, run and shoot your way through 3 fantastic levels which will bring memories of those 8 bit and 16 bit platformers flooding back. Levels like this just show once again what amazing things can be achieved using the LBP2 tools ? if you only know how!I... I... don't know what to say. This level completely shut down my brain. The sheer non-LBPness of this level is instantly apparent. It is truly a 16bit platformer that somehow made its way into my PS3. I played the first stage and then had to check that I was still playing LBP. Amazing pixel art, crisp game play and a strong concept explode out of the seemingly inexistent confines of LBP create mode.

http://if.lbp.me/img/bl/46f6f93dfd70285713860e0e2255aa55ccdf4962.pngCONAN THE BARBARIAN - PrologueThe_Hog_FluEmbark on an epic quest in the Hyborian Age as Conan. Hack and slash your way through hordes of vile monsters and grotesque bosses. Thanks to MALAHKANGEL for the custom music, ROT-IN for the sackbots, SHADESEEKER for the voice overs and to the beta testers......PUPPY-PRINCESS, B-COLI, SHADESEEKER, and AJK-JACK. ONE PLAYER ONLY
An intense heat rises from the molten metal as it is being poured into the mold. The blacksmith's heavy hammer clangs against the metal that will soon form the great sword of Conan. And so it begins. As Conan, you will traverse a dangerous realm spanning across three levels, each differnt and more dangerous the last. But fret not young warrior, for you have the great sword by your side and the numerous vile creatures you happen upon don't stand a chance. The first land you must conquer is a perilous swamp filled with evil tribesman and hugry crocodiles. Brave that and it's on to a horrid cave teeming with even more nefarious creatures. As you scour these lands you not only will be doing battle with all sorts of fiendish adversaries but some of the most disgusting bosses ever created. Think you have the strenght and courage to weild the mighty sword of Conan? Then haste not and queue this series! An outstanding piece of story telling, with a solid art direction that is quickly followed by some epic platforming with a meaty sword swing combat element. And you will need to keep that sword on hand as you traverse the dark world full of danger. Keep your wits with you as the danger is just not enemies but the environment itself. Cut ropes to lower bridges and dislodge rocks to progress through the world as you fight your way to your quest's reward!

http://id.lbp.me/img/bl/ffd044a6d6f07ed533931ca3a1fdc66131385b46.pngMr. Ratzinger's Hasty houseMamett-BoxMr. Ratzinger's house is on the loose again! Oh well, just do him the favour and catch it before it's over the hills and far away. And tell him to rack up his perky domicile next time! ---Platformer - Medium difficulty - 1 or 2 players (lvl-link might be odd though)
Here is a charming little level that you simply have to play. The premise is quite humorous, as this fellow's house has literally up and run away! He asks for your help and your task is this: 1. Get to the house itself, which is pretty comical to see this house running down the street on robotic legs, 2. Get inside the house. Now this is a neat way to do things. You platform you way up on the outside of the house until you find an opening that will allow you access to the inside of the house. Once inside, you have one final task, shut it down! You'll experience fantastic platforming in a clever level when you come a knockin' on Mr. Ratzinger's Hasty House. After a long break Mamett-box is back with his first LBP2 level and he certainly returns with a bang. This level has all the slightly strange and quirky charm of his earlier work. The storyline ? help Mr Ratzinger catch his house which has upped sticks and started striding around ? is instantly appealing and provides an opportunity for some great platforming, as you leap onto those marching legs and scale the house looking for an entrance. Once inside the adventure continues (and the platforming gets even better) as you work your way ever upwards, meeting the somewhat peculiar occupants of the house, even stopping on the way for a spot of tea! Finally you get to the heart of the problem and put a stop to the madness. Great level design, fresh ideas, humour and lashings of weird but wonderful charm make you remember exactly why Mamett-box is a creator to cherish ? I just hope he sticks around!

Hi schark1994

I'm not a member of the PSP crew but I think the plan is that the next PSP spotlight should be included in the first Vita spotlight. I may be wrong though so it's probably best to wait for confirmation from one of the PSP guys.

Thanks Spotlight crew for pick my level, I don't really know what to say, just thanks!!

Congratulations to the creators who are spotlighted on this new episode and the honourable mention, you guys help keep the fun on LBP 2 with your creations and prove the community still "alive".

I noticed this last episodes haven't big amount of levels picked, I guess is because of LBP Vita... Speaking of LBP Vita, I'm glad to see deadmn/OriginalCreator as new member of the Spotlight crew, congratulations.

Again thanks to the spotlight crew for another awesome episode and the creators for make this possible.
