LBP2 is one of those games so good that it feels instantly classic, possibly due to its clever use of watershed technologies and social interaction... so I sometimes feel like I've been playing LBP2 for about six or seven years even though in actuality never played any of the LBP games before March 2011. ^^; | 2012-09-28 03:41:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
I remember when littlebigplanet 1 came out, I believe in fall of 08. 4 years later and I still haven't stopped playing the series o.o | 2012-09-28 11:58:00 Author: Tynz21 ![]() Posts: 544 |
I got my PS3 by LBP1 bundle (in general i picked PS3 for 2 reasons 1. LBP 2. Lack of Live in my country, wich means in order to play multiplayer i need play with prepaid cards from other contries :o!). Ofcorse i started ith story mode and i remeber playing Meerkat Kingdom (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Meerkat_Kingdom) which is quite climatic level and i think it's best level in LBP1 ![]() With LBP2.... this game generally started with LBP2 Beta ;p which was one of longest if not the longest Beta in PS3 history (4 months!), and imo this was a golden age of game and i got balls to say series, so people fire up on creating and great atmosfere, this is where i meet most people i know today, due smaller number of people every good level automaticly popup on top of cool pages it was amazing days... now LBP2 is far away from that not only due larger number of people. Now when i look on play beta transfered i got huge nostalgia attack. It's all thanks to one person who give me LBP2 Beta code (but i keeping promise to not tell who ;p), so thank you him a lot for best game expirence i ever had since Amiga ^^ | 2012-09-30 13:52:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |

Ah, I remember getting a PS3 for Christmas '08, I wanted it just because I saw LBP1, but I was really sad at the time because it came with Uncharted instead of LBP (Later in my life, I realized that Uncharted is a good game though), so I constantly bugged my mother until she bought it for me. When I saw the E3 trailer of LBP2, it made me EXTREMELY hyped. I could barely hold my anticipation, and LBP2 is still my favorite game in the series (and one of my favorite games overall), I pre-ordered the game, but I didn't have it until 2 weeks after it came out. Each day, I became less and less impatient (with a few days resulting me to bike to the mail station itself) until I finally got it. And I made a vow to myself to when LBP Vita comes out, I would take creating more seriously. Now that I have that game, I'm already brainstorming ideas and making puzzles. Anyone remember the good times of LBP1 waking up to new and awesome levels ( which sucked compared to LBP2 ) And then getting LBP2 and saying wow looking at the tools bag | 2012-09-30 16:45:00 Author: SuperROBO1 ![]() Posts: 358 |
Not LBP1, I didn't have a PS3 then, but LBP2. Finally getting it after waiting was great, I rushed to Create as soon as I could and sat in wonder at the awesome new stuff. Community levels weren't fantastic but that was to be expected, and there were a load of fun multiplayer minigames my friend and I played through. | 2012-10-03 18:55:00 Author: kirbyman62 ![]() Posts: 1893 |
