What do you think of the music?

I really liked the Antidote song (used in Jackpot City's final boss) and the Destiny Awaits cinematic music. Also, I'm proud to say I owned the Tortoise song before this game came out. I have Tarsier taste, hooray!2012-09-24 22:51:00

The music in this game is fantastic so far. The first couple levels have such great songs! I love the emphasis on trumpets since I play it myself. The music in the Jackpot City stage seems to match it very well. There's one song that's pretty annoying, not sure which one it is, but it was in a TeamPicked level, the "Lights Out" one. Something in it that was really repetitive.

The Pod music is SO ANNOYING. The worst pod music of all the games so far. The long droning is so annoying to listen to. I wish it didn't play while you're just sitting in the pod. I want complete silence in the pod like the other games and music only in the pod computer. My God does that droning just drill into your head...

My favourite track is 'A Hollow Victory' on Low Intensity. I think it's my favourite music piece in any LBP game EVAH so awesome. I used to listen to it on repeat whilst creating haha2012-09-25 00:08:00

I like the one song that plays on "The Mainframe Heist" and the int music in Coaster Valley.2012-09-25 00:16:00

This game actually has my favourite soundtrack out of any LBP game thus far. The music is eclectic, but not to the extent of LBP2 where the music didn't fit the theme occasionally. The only track I didn't like was Off The Hook, which was pretty grating. Night on Bare Mountain is pretty great, as is Daredevil Deluxe. Joy Comes in the Morning is also pretty excellent. I'm happy to say I was a Plaid fan before LBP2 and I'm glad they included a different track.

I also like the pod ambiance in this game. It just adds some charm to the pod.

I love the music in this game. My only slight disappointment is that the interactive music now only has three sliders, but overall there are many moods to draw from. Even the tunes I didn't like when I heard them for the first time are now growing on me.2012-09-25 13:29:00

The music's fine, but honestly it's kinda forgettable in comparison to LBP 1 and 2. Like, the only song I remember right now at all is Bust-Out Brigade. It's not like I often use the music in my levels anyway, since I always compose stuff in the sequencer.2012-09-25 17:51:00

Yeah, the 3-sliders was a little disappointing. I liked being able to choose the instruments/sections.

There's another song I had before this came out. I bought that whole album when I heard T.O.R.N.A.D.O. on TV.

My favorite song has got to be "Daredevil Deluxe".

My friend adores "Fly Vision".

You do realize that you can turn it off in the Audio section in the pause menu, right?

Anyways, the soundtrack if my least favorite in the series (I still like it, I think it's pretty great). I mean, the songs are good and all, but like lemur said, they're mostly forgettable.

I love the music in this game. It's hard to say if I like it better than LBP PSP (my favorite soundtrack of any LBP so far) but it's pretty excellent. I especially like the various options in the electronica genre, and I LOVE the various classical music tracks like the hero song and the various stings. Really nice stuff there.2012-10-02 00:05:00

Man! The PSP soundtracks were astonishing! I can't really tell if I prefer Vita's songs best, 'cause I haven't got any time to hear them all, but I will, and come back with my judgement

Psp really did have a great soundtrack.

I would pay to have an Orb of Dreamers sound object.

Voodoo Juju was great too. You could go from extreme serious to total craziness in .5 seconds with that song.

The vita tunes are slowly growing on me.

Am I the only one who finds the Pod music a bit creepy?
I love 'The Land of Marianne', though. I am addicted to that song - it's my favorite song, hands down.

I honestly would never expect Night on Bald/Bare Mountain in a LBP title! But now, I know better. I wonder why isn't the entire LBPSP soundtrack just shoved into the PS Store as a LBPSV DLC Music Pack since launch, though. I would've bought that in a heartbeat!2012-10-04 15:28:00

The music is great ! The Land of Marianne and Eyen were especially good. I also liked the music in some of the haunted house levels and the eyeball mini-game. I wish there was a bit more, though its actually a good enough collection as it is... and I kind of miss Glockenpop .2012-11-27 01:39:00

Yeah Ghost Von Frost has been a feature on my ipod for a while now, i got so excited when i heard those opening chords in the spooky house levels. Same goes for the Lorn tune.

I actually prefer this soundtrack to LBP2, but i think in terms of variety LBP1 pinches it for me (i never played psp), since LBP2 made a big jump towards more electronic music.

I wish we could get some of the dlc music in vita aswell, the history kit music, potc music, horror kit music and the music pack sings would all be a great addition to the vita

I am thankful to Mm though, i have found lots of great music through the LBP franchise, like squarepusher, toumani diabate, and more

I personally think the LBP Vita music is soooooo devoid of variety. Which song goes well in an oriental-themed level? None of them, while in LBP1/2, there were The Islands Theme and Song 2 and the other ones. Most of the songs in this game are too electronic or just too distinct to be varied. I would pay to have them make all the music from the games cross-compatible :[2012-12-16 04:50:00

yeah i do agree that there is a much more electronic slant to the music in vita, even more so than in lbp2.
hopefully if we see level pack dlc we might get a more interesting selection of songs

I like the music a lot. Although, I wish it had more variety to fit more environments. My favorites are:

Ghost von Frost
Plock
Ghost in the Pan
Land of Marianne
Neelie

I wish Winifred Phillips and Richard Jacques had contributed more. Or if Kenneth Young had composed stuff for it. Or maybe interactive music from LBP and LBP2 had been carried over. They did that on LBPK, why not LBPV? At least the game comes with the Move Pack instruments.

EDIT:

My golly (lol), Plone is an awesome band/electronic trio. I love how LBP is always there to introduce me to new artists. I've started listening to Squarepusher, Ochre, Plaid, Ugress, Royskopp, and now Plone because of LBP.
