Hey there. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue as me and if it was aware of.
Basically, on the level select screen, when i touch to highlight a level, it deselects it near instantly. Also when I pause the game and leave it, it eventually un pauses itself. it's like the O button has a mind of its own. It's not an issue with any other games just LBPV.
So ye, anyone else had this issue and have any suggestions or know if it's a known issue?

Many thanks

Chris.

I've seen dozens of videos and none of them have that problem. Don't you just touch and then wait for it to load?2012-09-19 18:28:00

Ok, I've figured it out. I was experiencing other weird issues like stickers placing themselves.
It turns out it was because I was playing with my Vita plugged in and charging. I've experienced random issues before like not being able to unlock my vita when on charge and weird touch screen glitches. Not sure if my Vita's faulty or if it's expected when playing on charge, as in don't play your Vita on charge?
Any how, strange as it is, at least I've got my solution. Cheers for your input anyways.

Yes,When you play your vita while chagrining it makes the battery very hot which makes the screen hot which causes touch screen problems,Trust me you should not play your vita while chagrining,It's not good for your Vita.

I don't know where you get this idea from lol. I play regularly while charging and so do thousands of other people. I think perhaps you've made a connection somewhere along the line and are convinced it's true. Charging while playing should make absolutely no difference at all. People do it all the time.2012-09-19 18:53:00

Well my initial thought was that there should be no issue with charging and playing but it's evidently clear that it has an effect on my Vita. May mean my Vita is faulty but my touch screen has definite issue whilst charging.2012-09-19 19:00:00

Well,When i used to play on my vita when charging it used to make the battery pretty hot,Which would also make the touch screen act very strange,I remember reading Sony saying she recommends =NOT to play your vita while charging...I may I'm wrong,But lets just say i avoid playing my vita while chagrining 2012-09-19 19:12:00

the vita, smartphones, anything with a capacitive touch screen can SOME TIMES act odd when charging.

Strange enough, it sometimes is as simple a fix as picking a different outlet. I can't plug my phone in at work for that very reason. It isn't a heat issue though. It's (for lack of someone with an electronics and or engineering degree to explain it better) the power from the plug affecting the touch screen it's self.
