Recommended for one player, but more than one can play if you communicate with each other. Welcome back my friends, it's the show that never ends. Like a bowl of cereal with two cups of sugar! A high flying platformer that keeps you on your toes.

I will do feedback for feedback on anyone who leaves a review.

Thanks Dom! Didn't even know lbp.me was synced with the vita yet!

Did you recreate it or did the BETA levels stay?

No, 3 of my beta levels stayed! Too bad I spent the last 4 days remaking it!

There were a ton of bugs I had to fix, but it should be good to go now.

VelcroJonze, I tried all your LBP vita levels.

All of them great and remember me that cool time while you created platforming level for LBP psp

All vita levels are fun, but they too shot!! Please create some more or remake already published with additional adventures!

Grat level VJ, I loved it in the beta. It just looks cool, and has sweet gameplay to match. Can't wait to see what your next theme will be. Maybe add some touch control in your next endeavor? But in your style, where you have to be quick.2012-09-20 03:42:00

It's so cool to see levels from my favorite PSP creators on a system with much more impressive graphics (and that's just going by the pictures)

Can't wait to get a Vita and play this.

Thanks for all the responses everyone.

I really need some honest feedback on this.

There is a couple of parts that seem to give some people a hard time.

It is a challenging level, maybe my most difficult ever. I hope not too hard though.

You should know I'm a big fan of your PSP levels Velcro, and I'm glad to see you've got the vita. And it's safe to say yu're going to continue to create chaotic and brilliant platformers

The name couldn't be more accurate, it really is like a sugar high with all those colours. The visuals are great considering it's such a mash of craziness, and this is one of your most innovative levels - some of the platforming was immensely clever and fun.

My only problem was sometimes it lacked direction, and I myself struggled to work out where to go! But I guess that's part of the difficulty.

A big for your level, great work

@ Mets - Hey dude! Long time no talkie!! Can't wait to see what you do on the vita. You made some great psp levels.

@ Joruto - Glad you did not find it too hard. This is a level that some will find easy, and others will find impossible to complete. I am not sure why on that. A ten year old played it on my vita and finished it no problem today. His dad could not. And the dad has been playing lbp for more than year. like I said, not sure why. Thanks for the play!

@ Coxxy - Thanks for the review. On yours and others suggesting it, I have added more arrows pointing to the the next objective. You are not the first to say that it lacks direction unfortunately. I noticed you played with a couple others. This level is really designed for one player. I am thinking about making that a restriction to play the level. I played it with three other players the other night and I admit, it was very chaotic. Thanks for the play bud!

This was great!!! The visuals were decent, but they needed some improvement. To be honest, your PSP visuals looked better than this. But that's just me; other people probably liked the visuals. The game play was very fast-paced and engaging, but it ws kind of hard to make some of those jumps. Overall, I'm very pleased with this level, and I'm pretty sure I hearted it. If I didn't heart it, it really deserves a heart from me.2012-09-24 03:41:00

I think the hardest part about your level / where I was having trouble is this: The only way for the "Slide" part to work is pretty much NOT trying to control it. I kept trying to time the jump off the first bounce pad, and when you do that it's **** near impossible to hit the 2nd pad correctly to get to the height you need.

Once I just stopped hitting anything during the slide (until i aim'ed my sackboy after the 2nd bounce) it was fine.

@ Unc - Thanks dude!! Glad you liked it. You really think my psp levels look better than this?

@ bigkurz - This was a left over beta level, and it was complete broken when I got my hands back on it last week. The problem is, editing the old beta levels is very problematic for some reason. Different codes in the full game make simple edits a time consuming chore. I wish I could redo some things, but I am at a point where I am just going to leave well enough alone. I am glad you finished it though, and last check, you have the 2nd highest score. I am impressed buddy!!

Great level!

This was the first game I queued for my Vita, and I'm so glad i did! It's crazy that the "cool" levels are all so bad right now, when great levels like yours haven't been highlighted :/

But I guess I found it, and I enjoyed it, and that's what matters to me

It's great to see new levels from you in the Vita =)! I really liked the visuals in Sugar Pop. The choice of colors, materials, shapes and decorations made the whole level extremely eye-catching. I liked how you used camera angles in some parts, particularly the extremely difficult section with the gigantic slide and the spikes and the bounce pads. That portion was so deadly and yet so beautiful.

On the whole I really enjoyed it, but you're right about it being one of your most difficult levels. It's not hard to the point of being too frustrating to complete but it doesn't seem to flow as smoothly as your PSP levels. It seems to lack some of the rhythm that made those distinct. I hope this isn't a vague bit of criticism but I don't know how else to describe it. It probably has to do with that code incompatibility you mentioned above.

It's still a great level though. I loved the sliding switches. Those were a bit of a surprise. I don't think I've ever seen switches used like that before. Great work!

Hey VelcroJone, It's great to see your first level on the Vita! You were the game-play king on LBP PSP. So I know I will have some great levels to play on my LBPV. This was a great first level. You had some very cool game-play additions. I loved the rocket(?) switches. Having the player hitting jump on the spring boards was a nice addition as well. I welcomed the extra challenge. The patented VJ velocity feeling of being shot around was there as well and that is what makes it so fun. One thing I always like doing when playing one of your levels is trying not to die the first run through. This level kicked my ***.

I read in the post above that you were looking for some constructive feedback so here it goes. My biggest problem with the level is the material choices. The thing I always loved about your levels is not only how good they looked but how well they worked with the speed of sackboy zipping through them. Sugar Pop is a visual feast of colors and looks amazing standing still but once things get moving it's hard to make out the layers, see switches and work out paths. All too often I had to stop and just figure out what to do next.

Some other minor issues were, the heart touching beginning which felt a bit uncomfortable. On the previous mentioned bounce pad jumps, you may want to put up signage letting people know they have to jump since it's hard to make it out with the camera panned back so far.

It's still a very good level. I look forward to getting up in the leader board.

PS: You were always very good with springboards, I am hoping you make a level without the bounce pads. Yeah I know it's much easier to say than do. But springboards just feel better to me...

I finally got around to playing this (again) yesterday and it was just as fun as I remembered it from the beta, now with 87% more awesomeness added. I'm probably going to be the first to say that I didn't think it was anywhere near your hardest level - it wasn't frustrating at all to finish. Sure, I died a few times but hey, it's a platformer. I always die on those.

I think the visuals are great. It's just another theme or palette of colors to choose from. Instead of all wood tones this one looks like you're platforming inside a box of Lucky Charms, and I love that. It's sort-of-kind-of hard to tell what layer you're on sometimes but then again it doesn't really matter as one area links up to the next easily enough. Patented VJ "large scale platforming" is back and just as epic as always, and your gameplay mechanics are varied and pure genius. I just don't know how you keep coming up with all this stuff man, it's really something. The thought you put into it is very clear.

Downsides aren't many. The level is a bit short but you knew that already, and the city background makes it a little difficult to see what's going on sometimes... Then again I was wearing an all-black costume so maybe that's my fault. My only other complaint is that this level made me hungry for Halloween candy. and <3, of course! Killer stuff bud, loved it.

@ Phalaina - Hello!! It's great to hear from again. Thanks for playing and I hope to see something new from you soon!!

@ Xenon - Thanks so much for you honest feedback. This level seems to give half the people who play it trouble. This was a leftover level from the beta, and I have a hard time editing it for some reason. I wish I could make a few of the changes you have mentioned, because I agree with everything you said. Looks like you finally got the hang of it though, you got the high score!!

@ Taffey - Thanks for the awesome feedback bud!! Glad you liked it. I agree it does feel like you are platforming inside a box of Lucky Charms. When I built this in the beta, it was all wood at first. Then I started experimenting was those crazy colors and it just took off. This is without a doubt mt most colorful level ever. Thanks for playing!!

No, I changed my mind. This had way better visuals. I went back and played some old psp levels yesterday, and they look horrible compared to this.

Anyways, do you mind leaving an F4F on Sackenstein?

Just like the BETA version, I loved it.
But this one has added awesomeness, took me a while to get some obstacles figured out but I got trough in the end.
For the visuals ... At first, I didn't like the colors, but that's because I'm a killer for darker toned levels. They have been growing on me and I must say that I like them alot now! Well thought trough gameplay, nice, clean visuals and being shot around the whole time.
A real Jonzian Platformer. :3 Yey, heart and download.
