Introducing up and coming LBP creator....Qeelin (pronounced Key-Linn, for all you folks that want to call me Qwe-Linn, lol) Hi. My name is Qeelin. I've been playing LBP since a few days after its release. It is the only game I have ever pre-ordered. When I first saw a video for the game I knew it would be one for me and my family. We all love it! My wife, son, daughter, and I all play it all the time. My son has become a level creating machine. Unfortunately, some of them have a bit to be desired, but he's getting better all the time. I have published three levels, only one of which I am proud of. It's a small game level called "The Ultimate Crane Game" I love the mechanical aspect of LBP. The pistons, sensors, and motors remind me of a virtual, almost limitless, erector set or Lego Mindstorms set. I'm learning more and more every day and hope to soon release my fourth level. It's the first in a series of levels with a "lost city" feel to it. I hope to post more often on here, I don't have a lot of time to read all the wonderful threads on this site but I will do my best to contribute. Thanks for listening!! | 2009-01-12 04:35:00 Author: Qeelin Posts: 24 |

Welcome! I'm new to this site too, it's great to see your whole family enjoying the game. I've just tried out your levels, it's clear you really like the mechanical aspects of the game. I thought all three levels had some great aspects, I loved the mechanical hands in Spooky House 08, The Machine must have taken a lot of work! I left some feedback on that one - it was hard to see what effect the switches had, maybe a camera connected to each the switches would help. You could have the camera activated by a switch which pans to the part of the machine affected by the switch. The Ultimate Crane Game is a really polished level I can see why you're proud of it. I haven't published a proper level yet, all I have is a level giving some free prizes. If you have the Metal Gear Solid pack then please check out my level (see my signature for more details) | 2009-01-12 15:45:00 Author: EastwoodAndy Posts: 70 |

Thanks, I have learned a ton since I first published that level and have been wanting to revamp it but I'm afraid that it would be a waist of time. I don't think most people like levels like that. Maybe I will change a few things after I finish my current project. | 2009-01-12 16:56:00 Author: Qeelin Posts: 24 |
