Forum does not function well under Chromium.
Archive: 3 posts
Hi there, I've started using Chromium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_(web_browser)) on Debian and the forum does not seem to be playing nice at all. I can't get any of the editing tools (bold, italics, insert video etc), and even the keyboard shortcuts don't work. I'm also unable to edit posts. It works fine on Iceweasel (Firefox), and I believe it works fine on Chrome on Windows (haven't really used it myself). Is there anything that could be done? Thanks | 2012-09-17 21:50:00 Author: kirbyman62 Posts: 1893 |
I've used LBPC on chromium quite a bit and it seemed fine, but not for a while, I'm using chrome on windows atm *goes to investigate* EDIT: everything seems to work perfectly with chromium for me on precise pangolin..maybe you just need to update? In the past LBPC has been very glitchy for me in chrome, but in the later versions it's worked great. | 2012-09-18 15:07:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Running apt-get upgrade doesn't offer any updates, so I must be using the most recent version in the Debian repos. Perhaps I'll submit a bug report to them. (Sorry for double post - as I said, I can't edit). I tried on another forum running VBulliten 4.1.12 and it's the same thing, so it may not be and issue for you guys. I'll file a bug report. | 2012-09-18 16:56:00 Author: kirbyman62 Posts: 1893 |
