"New Post" Button glitch

Archive: 11 posts

Yeah so it just might be my computer but now when I hit the New Post button it brings up 495 new post, even though most are old it resets the threads and all the comments as me not reading them, even after i have already?

The reason that I'm concerned is because i haven't updated my computer or cleared any cookies or history so that should all be the same, which makes me think its the site.

Please Help me 17 plus pages of new post is crazy to try to get through

Both of you, try clearing out your cookies and your internet cache and try again. Also, what web browser are you using?2009-01-12 04:03:00

Ah, I understand. Once we switched over to the different method of "Read/Unread" tracking (more info here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=7365)), it reset some of your previous information. This will slowly go away over time, and you'll find the New Posts feature much more useful.2009-01-12 04:14:00

Yay! It actually changes from "New posts" to "No new posts" on the forum index without me having to go and read it a second time ^^2009-01-12 05:02:00

All I did to get mine up to date was to Mark all Forums Read. New Posts then works as it should showing any new posts since your last visit.

Good to know, it's been doing this to me and I thought it was my computer crapping out on me xD

I'll give that a try, didn't know you could even do that! Thanks for the suggestion.

EDIT: It worked!
