My name is joelombardo830. I'm new to forums, so I don't really understand yet how to post stuff. I've been playing LBP for about a year now, and I would have to say that there are not too many days that go by without me getting some lbp game time in. My wife purchased the game for me last Christmas, and then got LBP2 for me this past fathers day. I love this game. I enjoyed playing through story mode and trying to find 100% of the items to use in create mode. I only need 4 more levels to beat without dying to have 100%. I've been creating levels now, and I think that I'm getting pretty good at it. It is disappointing when no one plays the levels, and I don't know how yet to make them more visable for people to try. at first, I wanted to make levels based on my favorite game growing up, super mario. I made a few based on that game. I gave up on that and started learning more about the controlinator. I made a 80's style game where you drive a truck back and forth shooting alien spaceships. It was o.k. I then started getting better with logic, and was able to figure out how to make a life bar and a sacbot. I made a level which I would like to continue with 4 more levels of the story. It is called escape from hell. I made it because I found a way to make a life bar, but then I used the same concept to make fire power. I made a little demon type guy who has fire power for a limited time and can shoot fire at enemies. I made health recharge and fire power recharge available on the level. I also made it so that there can be 3 goals, or prizes on the level for you to look for. At the end of the level, there are 8 different ending based on which items were found. (0 items, item1, item2, item3, items 1+2, items1 +3, items 2+3, items 1, 2 + 3). After all the hard work on this level, and then only a handful of people played it, I lost interest in continuing it until I get more positive feedback. I decided to try more logic. I made what I believe to be the best version on LBP a version of my favorite board game growing up, othello. I did have problem with one area of logic, and had nowhere to turn for answers. I searched everywhere on the computer until I found this site. I really wanted to join so that I can ask questions and learn from everyone else who might have ran into some of the same newbie problems that I have. I hope to make friends on here and receive help when needed. Hopefully I will also be able to help others when I can. Sorry for all the rambling. Joe

WHOA. That's alot to read. Wow. Anyways, hi joelombardo830! Welcome to LBPC! From what I've read you said that you are a creator, so it's good you came here. You can show off your levels here, and we have the amazing spotlight crew that picks the very best ones, and showcases them in our bi-weekly spotlight.
