I'm surprised that noone hasn't suggested it yet (or I haven't seen it). There should be checkpoints that you can decide the number of lifes. What do you think?

Yes, this would be a good idea. There would have to be a limit though because there would be no point in setting it to 200 for instance. You'd just set that to infinite. Perhaps increments of 2 up to 20 would be enough and then of course 'infinite'. Another thing they should add is the ability to use any material you want for the checkpoint

Another thing they should add is the ability to use any material you want for the checkpoint I agree this is a very good idea it would be very helpful in platformers when you still want people to be able to use all the lives at one point instead of having like 5 or infinite lives were they have either too many or too little. I also agree with the idea of us being able to change not only check points but for things like the scoreboard too into any material we have collected. These two options would be great and i would use them A LOT!
