I've been hard at work bettering my level (http://lbp.me/v/ct90qb) based on all of the helpful tips and suggestions from the LBPCentral community (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=72941-Metal-Gear-Sackboy-Unraveling-Stitches) but I think I've hit a small problem... I had to split my Act 1 into two parts a while back to alleviate thermometer issues and I just found out this evening that I can't take friends with me when I use the Level Link between Act 1's Part 1 and Part 2. I tried with maybe 6 different people on 6 different run throughs (once I even had two friends with me) but every time we accessed the Level Link I ended up with the same result... Me, on the other side of the Level Link all alone. I thought that maybe it was my internet but its weird that it keeps happening. I was wondering if anyone else has faced this problem before. If anyone could test out the Level Link with a friend and let me know how it goes I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks all! (100th post! Yay!)

I 'beleive' that's why people try to keep clear of level links, I have exactly the same issue with my tank commander level! It may be because the thermo is real high, and it can't cope with the extra players?? (is the thermo 'really high' on yours? If so, you could try emmiting some of the game once the game starts? I'm avoiding usin level links for my latest level, and have learnt looooots of ways to reduce the thermo, and cheat it with emmiting stuff ect

I wasn't aware that other people faces this problem too. This sucks. Part 1 has a thermo level 2 ticks below the top and the second part is only half full on it's thermometer. I had to split the level so that it all fit... The level was bursting at its seems before it was split into two. Could the problem be the fact that I was the host and my Internet sucks or is it an issue with the game itself?

Level links a touchy critters. I think they drop online players all the time. I saw one where 4 of us on the same system, but one player was just off to the side. Three of us went in and there was one player stuck in the level- had to return to pod. As a player I like the level links to be my choice as to enter them or not.

I thought that the level link would be the best way to expand my level... I was having thermo issues and it all wouldn't fit in one level. I read in the tutorial section of this forum about emitting and destroying areas of the level to save thermo. Maybe I'll look into that...
