I picked up my copy from Gamestop yesterday and they gave me the pre-order costume code, bt I didn't work. Probably because they code just hasn't been activated. Anybody else pre-order?

Was the pre order code advertised on the box? I just bought a copy from game stop, but I hadn't pre ordered, and I don't see any mention of the codes. I don't want to open mine if it doesn't have the codes.

You know what's even stranger? I pre-ordered from Gamestop for the costumes, and I got a code on my receipt, but there's a code inside the actual game for the costumes too. So...why were they hyping the presale if they give you a code anyway? Unless there was special pre-oder copies of LBPvita. The card in the package says thank you for your pre-order of LBpvita.

So, does the outside of the box say anything about the pre order code inside? Nope, not at all. That's whats weird about it. I suspect the code also doubles as your online pass, so you probably have a code in your copy anyway. Can anyone confirm?

The code works in the store for the online pass but not the costumes (yet). The code does not work if trying to do it from the game. Also even with the online pass code download they have the servers off so it only activated the community menu with every online option marked out.

I think its worth mentioning that the Online pass code in the case is misprinted as the Pre-order bonuses for a lot of people who got it early. People are either complaining or spreading false hope that they got it and it'll be activated when the costume codes would normally work (this is impossible because you can't have 2 different pieces of content with different activation times on one code). So don't get fooled. However this mistake could lead to compensation from Sony/Tarsier

LBP Twitter said they will get this sorted out. This is a unique issue that hasn't happened before. I am in the same boat and only got the Online Pass activated even though it said it's for the preorder bonuses.

according to the playstation blog, none of the stuff will be usable till the 18th. I'll post a link to it when i find it again. Also, Got the last copy from my gamestop just now!!!!! Here it is! Speaking of pre-order bonuses, do you get anything with the LBPV Bundle? Heck, are those even being sold? The bundles was mentioned a few weeks back, and then that was that. We haven't heard anything about the LBPV Bundle or the digital bonuses..

When i got mine they tolled me that mine was the last pre-Order copy And they said they they had to sell it.So i got lucky but..Im lost since it said online pass but. The last game i pre-orderd had the dlc for costumes in the same code as the online pass so im hopeing that the pre-order dlc is in the code..Cause i canceled my pre order at amazon.

I think they should give you the code with your receipt, out of the box... They did both on the receipt and in the box for me. They were 2 different codes though.

The sleeve page said only pre-order costume but was my online pass. I warned the guy a GS that he will be getting many lost code calls since they do not state it is also the online pass anywhere.

Im thinking that one code if for both online pass and the costumes..When i pre-oderd saints row the third they did the same thing they had one code for the costumes and the online pass.Im thinking they did the same thing with lbp vita.

Misprint? How did you hear that? The insert front says Preorder Bonus Code Redemption and the back specifically mentions the bonuses by name in the headline and terms and conditions. My copy of ME3 collectors edition had one code for the Online Pass and my collectors edition goodies. Uncharted 2 GOTY's Online Pass unlocked the Online Pass and the goodies. Resistance 2 had a code that unlocked multiple things. I think it would/will unlock the goodies if/when the items were/are in the store.

Because you can actually redeem the one in the case and it gives you the online pass. While the code on the receipt you can't redeem and the developers have confirmed the pre-order code will work on Tuesday. Do you really think they'll have a single code give out 2 things (Pass and Pre-order), and only half of it is given out before a certain date? I really wish Syroc or someone can put this to rest on this issue, cause otherwise things are just going to get ugly

Don't you think that would be lying too? Especially when people try to access the community earth and they see the message that the online pass was supposed to be in the case. A mistake about the online pass would be far far worse then a mistake on pre-order bonuses Why don't you try to redeem the case code and see for yourself

Lol you mis under stood me..Iv seen people say there was a secant code i'd like to know were on this paper not the one in the case but the one you get when you buy the game there was a nother code..Were is it? They did not give me the other code iv all ready redeemed my code that was in the box and i know what it said. I even just posted up above what the paper said in the box -_-... The online pass is the code in the case thats for the dlc and the online pass but it does not state that. I did not pre-order the pre-order copy i happen to have got lucky when they had one pre-oder copy left.

I redeemed my code given to me by amazon via email and it worked. I recieved downloadable content for both LBP2 and LBP Vita. Tried the content in LBP2 and they all look great. I recieved only ONE code. It gave me BOTH dlc packs (bioshock + knights) with ONE code. The other code inside your game case is the online access code NOT the dlc code. So a friend of mine picked up their copy of LBPV recently, but their pre-order code wasn't on the receipt.. We tried calling GameStop, we actually called four and sent numerous emails asking for assistance, but they were entirely unhelpful. I saw that a few of you were having the same issues. How did you get it rectified? She tossed the receipt and apparently GameStop needs it, so any advice?

Gamestop should have your details for when you pre-ordered it, so a little aggressive persuasion should make them check their records and give you what you want without the receipt. Don't take no for an answer.

lol I sincerely doubt a stoned 17 year old working the register at gamestop for his 3rd month is going to bother looking through preorder records to obtain that specific code. Just explain it to the guy in gamestop and hope they give you a leftover code. The codes aren't as rare as you'd think... they give them away to people who don't even preorder. Not exactly a game that's sold out in stores everywhere

Oh, and they won't respond to any of the emails we send. Both her and I have tried numerous times.. Gahh, GameStop customer service < Crap.
