Yesterday I was just playing around, trying to get 100% on every level, Then I turned off my controller for a little bit and when i came back, my poppit was black. And when I went to the MGS4 levels my paintinator bullets fired out a different color everytime. Not the colors you can normally pick, but weird dark colors including black. I put the dark purple color up next to it for comparison and it most obviously was black. I took pictures but for some reason my LBP data wasn't saved. Has this happened to anyone before?

weird bug, has never happened for me even though i often play with my brother and leave my ps3 on for pretty long periods.

The Black Pop-It is for other players on the same console. Hopefully you were able to figure that out by reading all of the posts reporting the same thing. >_>

When my guy picks up a paint gun the hole thing turns red idk why but me and clank have these costums going on where we are all stickerd so maybe that's why..?

I was stickered all blue and my Paintinator turned blue. So my guess is that if you stickered yourself a certain colour, the Paintinator will turn out like that.

Yea I noticed this too for a second controller, but this would be a great choice for 1st player as well... I wonder why it's not in the choices we have. Especially when it comes to the clothes that change colours depending on your pop-it colour, I would love to have black as an option :hero:

Basically, whatever stickers are on your face will mirror themselves onto the barrel. The rest of your body has no effect. Which is kinda awesome, it's like I've pimped my Paintinator as my own little charm.

yeah, my brother and I always play together and i haven't seen the black poppit since I first posted, so i don't think its the other player on the console thing. But if someone could figure it out i would love to have multi-colored paint again.

The only thing I can guess is that the black pop-it is intended for the guest, but glitches cause it to do otherwise.

When i made my new profile and started over again, instead of playing on my own profile, i joined my sister. Then i had a black popit. I also had it on my own account until i changed colors.

Somehow I got the black poppit...But somehow it was ONline! I was with my brother and 2 other girls who has a street fighter costume and then somehow I got the black poppit...I didnt get to check out the paintinator because We didnt go to a lvl with a paintinator in it so...yeah...

The creator J0hnNyR3C0 figured out how to replicate the black popit glitch with a 100% success rate. His Level is called Black Popit Tutorial, and can be played right now.
