Hi everyone!, I apologize if this is rude in some way, but I just wanted to let you know there's a cool, legitimate LBP movie-making crown contest going on over at LittleBigNetwork.com! On the one hand, I'm a little scared to open up the floodgates of this contest to the community at large (sorry judges!), but at the same time, I think it would be great to give as many people a chance to get their creative juices flowing, especially if you're looking for the opportunity to do it. A great opportunity for collaboration as well. Thanks liquid for the info, to clarify to everyone the prizes are 2-fold. This is actually a 2 part contest with each part declaring a winner. first part is make a movie and win...wait for it....wait for it... .A shiny new pin and a years membership to netflix (if you already have a netflix membership then a psn reimbursment you will receive WOWSERS!!!! second part. .. Be the best critic of all the entries and win... wait for it... A Shiny new LBN pin!!! and a FREE game of your choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It may not be a crown contest, but with prizes like these up for grabs, you all better get creating or put on you movie buff Siskel and Ebert hats on pronto!!!!

Is this contest being delayed or cancelled due to what is happening currently to LBN? I really wouldn't think so. It sounds like they are working on the issue, and LBN should be back to full service soon. Though once they are, it's recommended you change your password. You should still be able to access everywhere on the site except the main forum page. Just to be safe, I'm not going to log in until I hear everything's okay.

But just a quick run down is you have to make a short movie in LBP2, max time is 15mins. Be creative, and make it enjoyable. The prize is a years netflix subsription or a PSN card of equal value, a Crown, and a LBN Pin.

Thanks! And Do you know anything about the critic contest too? Not particularly, but I think its who ever is the best reviewer/critic of all the movies at the end gets a prize too. Don't hold me to that though. Either way, the critic contest won't be until after the closing date so you don't need to worry about that yet

The closing date will be extended to make up for the down time.
