Danto saga 11: logic city

this is the 11th level of my series. it has some fun little characters a large scale design hopefully you would like. I would like to know how it compares to the rest of my levels where there is room for improvement and especially on whether or not you like the design of the level. if you want me to give feedback on any level state the name of the level below.

okay, I've played your level, and here is my review, which I will write as I play.

The start has great colours. Very cool feeling. But the grammar makes me want to cry. You should fix that.
Huge point streak isn't very rewarding. I did nothing and yet bagged myself 8000 points. Try to make some kinda obstacle, so the player feels more involved. i died at this section also, and it was a loooong walk to get back to where I was. Moar checkpoints! I do like the houses though. Very original.
The wheel that spins in clicks is a good idea. Next, I grapple something that shoots me into the air. Not sure where I'm supposed to do. When I let go, it activates some random cutscene of nothing....
Next try, and i grapple something that shoots me of across a zip wire. I land on top of a building, then fall off. Not sure where I'm supposed to go, because both routes I've tried have landed me in the same place. Maybe make it a little clearer as to where I should go.
Unfortunately, I didn't manage to progress from there. But I will rate the level for what i have seen, and not take into account that I couldn't complete it.

Graphics: 7/10 I liked the colour scheme and the material choices. They worked well together.
Sound: 6/10 An appropriate soundtrack was chosen, but we could of had some sound effects.
Gameplay: 4/10 One section which I enjoyed, but it was a very long walk from the entrance to the actual gameplay, and if you died you had to go aaall the way back.
Overall: 5.5/10 A good level visually, but the gameplay needs to be polished.

Edit: Just played it. I liked the color scheme and the obstacles. The gameplay seemed a bit slow. When you first spawn in, It takes almost a minute to get where you first have to go. Some of the buildings could use a nice touch up but from what i saw (died too many times) it was quite interesting.

I used the points as a bit of direction that is why there are so many of them, I will limit the amount in later on levels. I have updated the level, will move on to returning feedback in a moment, I am sorry about grammar, I am not very good at it along with spelling, anyway I have updated it, I would love to know how you feel about the rest of the level and whether or not I have put enough indication to allow players to advance in the level, thanks for your feedback it really does help alot2012-09-09 00:28:00
