Question regarding controllable sackbots.

Can someone help me out here, or point me in a direction to a good tutorial for what I'm looking for?

How would I go about making sackbots that are usable in the same respects as a normal player? So that when it dies, I can have it respawn at "check-point" (place I choose to emit). But working the same way normal spawns would. So that when you die, you respawn at the closest check point.

I think I had, oh yea. One last question: is there a way to have the sackbots camera respond to in game cameras? Or any variation that is relative in effect?

Hey there, if you've not already, check out 'comphermc's tutorials on YouTube, (search for 'comphermc, or Ibplanetorials&apos believe there is a video for sackbot tutorials, not sure about sack bot respawning, but there are some good tutorials by others on there concerning the subject.... I could knock up the system for you in ten minutes, but would take me an hour to type it all on my iPhone
In my opinion, comphermcs tutorials are very easy to follow, understand, and watch, far better than reading text, and trying to understand tiny pictures

Take a sackbot and place a controlinator on it. Set it to receive and pick a colour. Now take another controlinator and place it on a square of holo. Set this to transmit and change the colour to the same as receive on the sackbot. Put a follower on the chip you have the controllinator on (the one on the holo) and pick a tag colour. set maximum detection range on the follower to as large as you want and minimum to nothing. Set the follower to its fastest settings and enable it to change layers (not necessary but it keeps it neat). Now put a tag on the sackbots for the follower to pick up. That should do it. You will also probably want the controlinator seat on the holo to be 'enter automatically' and don't forget to make it invisible in play mode2012-09-04 14:31:00
