LBP Machine: Catapult

You know you want to make one. Who doesn't want to launch a sackboy/girl into the air?

Of course, a catapult is simple enough to make, but it's uses are many. So yes, what are you going to use your catapult for? (almost everyone in LBP will have one, that you can be sure of)

I'm going to use mine to launch burning boulders at my friend whenever he comes over.

i would use it to fire burning logs in a mid evil type level and you would have to dodge them then take out the knight in shinning armour muwhahaha 2008-08-16 05:09:00

imma be using mine as a minigame, you have to calibrate it right to shoot the rocks through small holes in a wall to make the wall lift and allow you to advance to the next part.2008-08-16 09:06:00

I've already planned out a catapult for one part of a level;

Basically theres a catapult, then a wall. and rocks near by. The wall has a gate which wont open. to fling the catapult you need someone on the side. so you now have a choice:
1. If you're on your own - you can put rocks on the catapult and break the wall down! this can take a while.
2. If there's two or more of you, you can fling a partner over the wall to open it quickly 		2008-08-16 14:16:00

I'm going to use it to get sackboys/girls at high places.
And if you make a box on the catapult where multiple sackpeople can fit into. you would be able to shoot al the sackpeople. Ofcoures you'll need a launching button/trigger inside the box		2008-08-16 15:05:00

Same general idea though, I guess I'll use it for throwing Sackboy as far as I can to begin with and then maybe (as other people have said) get to high places like in the catapult scene from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (Morgan Freeman FTW!).

Also I may use it to rain firey balls of death down on the defenceless sacks of cloth .		2008-08-16 16:44:00
