Rate the Story Levels

Archive: 15 posts

Most of us have played the story levels at least once, and some of those people like it, others, not so much. Since there is no way to rate the story levels, you can rate it in the poll, and then if you want you can write a short review. Heres mine:

The overall story is the best of all of the LBP games in my opinion, because it brings you everywhere in the world, (except antarctica), and every country or part of the world you go to is unique, and has a story that is different from the next country or place. There are mini games you can unlock, and extra stickers and costumes and things you can use for your own levels. The gameplay is usually fast paced, although there are several times that I felt that things got a little boring. Overall, I had fun, and I'd rate story mode :star::star::star::star::star:.

Now it's your turn!

Five stars! Every theme was awesome. There's nothing I would change. 2012-09-03 08:26:00

Best LBP story mode ever? Really? I hated it... There wasn't a even a story,Just sackboy being used by a bunch of people...

The end was unsatisfied in my opinion,I remember just a little puzzle as the finale challenge and then just the end...

I think it was stupid of them to claim it what happen to him in between LBP and LBP2,It has nothing to do with the other LBP's,And sackboy isn't a complicated character,They could have make some giant story and then never talk about it again...And the level design was pretty low in my opinion for a story mode...There were a few time i saw things that were probably not well thought out...like the fact i needed to push some animal of a hill but somehow I'm also suppose to jump on her in time,They expected us to know we should push it just a little bit and then quickly jump on it and wait for it to slowly roll until it riches the hill...Just simple game-play stuff didn't feel so cleverly made like the other LBP's... And the game-play itself was very simple...Most of the time i wasn't having fun,Just played it to earn all the prizes...

Kudos to Cambridge for making a great lbp experience on psp, but I agree with ythyth, three years later these levels really don't hold up.

There are hundreds of community levels that blow story mode away.

That's true. There are a lot of community levels that are better than the story ones. I don't get why they show the music box, and the sensor switches, and the grab switches and all that. That makes it look a little less professional in my opinion. I think they could have done better, but it was fun all the same.2012-09-03 19:32:00

They made the logic visible to make it easier to understand. The player can see some examples of how the logic can be used so he can see the possibilities that gives us the game. You can see this in every LBP game.

Yes, in lbp1 they never tried to hide the logic. Magnetic keys are all over the place.

The first time I played a lbp1 level I thought that was cool.

I had no idea how they made video games before lbp1....Hahahaha!

I actually like the visible logic. It's weird actually, when I see a visible switch in a usermade level I am like: BANNED FOR NOT HIDING YO SWITCH!!!1 In the story mode levels though, I just accept it. 2012-09-05 18:14:00

False! There is a story! But it's not the greatest BECAUSE every LBP (I don't know about LBPK...) has the best story ever :3

Nope,LBP 1 and LBP psp both have very bad story.
And LBPK story was also reveled,It sounds horrible,LBPV seems to have a good story that may be a match for LBP2.

Your comment sounds a bit harsh, but somehow I agree with you.

The story in LBP PSP isn't so awesome or epic or whatnot, but anyway it wasn't that bad, so I gave it 4:star:'s
