Steam have just launched a new feature to support indie developers, called Greenlight.

(I can't find any non-blurry logo pics, sorry)

Essentially, Greenlight allows any game developer to advertise their game to the steam community. They can create a page for their game, which looks very similar to the game pages on the actual Steam store, with videos, screenshots and descriptions. Players are allowed to up or down rate any game they see. If a game gains the support of the communtiy, and enough up votes, it will enter pending and then be added to the steam store.

You can look at the Greenlight games either from your Steam client or here (http://steamcommunity.com/greenlight/).

After Browsing a few minutes, a couple of games have caught my eye:

Pixel Blocked! (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93020727&searchtext=) - A unique puzzle game that looks simple yet addictive. Also boasting a simplistic, but effective, pixelated art style.
Armillo: The Parallel Universe Mystery (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92958244&searchtext=) - Super Monkey Ball meets Mario Galaxy adventure game with an adorable alien squirrel thingy in the lead role.
Koya Rift (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92953602&searchtext=) - High-action platform shooter with huge replayablility. The game is different every time you play and gradually adjusts the difficulty based on the players ability, allowing for some insane combat for experienced gamers.

What are your opinions on Greenlight? What cool games have you found that you're backing?
