I thoroughly enjoyed Create Mode while in the Beta, but found myself hoping for improvements while using the tools. Several suggestions were submitted to the Karting team such as more detailed tutorials to make use of the tools more efficiently. I don't mind exploring possibilities, but time is valuable, and I am all for anything that will help me get there quicker as a creator.

What are your thoughts on the Create Mode tools, and suggestions for improving the Create experience in LBPKarting?

Luckily you don't have to figure out everything on your own. That's what we have this site for, and the wiki.

I think they have a pretty good set of tools. It's just a matter of some industrious folks figuring out how to best use them.

@Rogar...that's one of the points I brought up to Michael, about fansite members filling in the blanks like was done in LBP1 and LBP2, but that doesn't help the many thousands of Creators who don't belong to fansites. In that regard, I think the "right out of the box" experience is critical. We might even see an improvement in the quality of levels published by the LBP Community at large. I can't recall what forum it was in, but I suggested attract-o-track for zero-g racing. I'd like to see that and more precise grid control in geopaint mode.2012-09-20 19:43:00

I think movers is most impotent thing to implement, it's lack of was biggest barrier during beta, also fix gyro to be actully usable. And of corse reduce annoyance of create mode as much as possible, because i felt like i gone back to LBP1

There no bolts, insted of them there motors, they dont work like decoration in LBP2, that works like bolts but insted of placing them in object you "wireing" them up and all wited object to motor is being effected by it Yoiu can see them in action in my create mode walkthru:
