Metal Gear Solid: Operation Sack Part 3

Archive: 5 posts

Hi, this is the third and last part of my MGS series, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! Also please feel free to try out part 1 and 2, each part plays differently, especially part 3, so they won't feel like more of the same level.

The level starts out with a costume selection. You are in a helicopter, with guards trying to shoot you down, you have shoot down the guards from the little platform on the chopper while avoiding enemy fire. This part gets MUCH easier if the enemy succeeds in destroying the helicopter and you choose to Continue, so don't worry avoid getting stuck there, just try not to die or you will have to face more guards. After that, just explore the level and remmember you're a SPY, so you will get more points for NOT being seen by the guards once inside the base..
It is made for 1 player, make sure you have subtitles active!!

Awesome! I've taken the liberty of queueing up Part 1 so that I can get the full story. I'll try and get to this weekend.2012-08-29 07:46:00

Wow... That was amazing. I played through all three levels of the story you created and I'm completely blown away. Your work is phenomenal. I had fun creating my own MGS themed levels but after playing yours I'm somewhat ashamed to even have mine published... You've recreated the feeling of the original games with an astonishing level of detail. It seemed that you managed to touch on nearly everything that one thinks of when they remember MGS... It was insane. I hadn't played any other MGS levels (other than those that come with the pack) prior to making my own and only a few since and it seems that you mastered all of the ideas that I was toying around with my various workshops. I had been attempting to develop a box that could be summoned on cue and hide the player from sight but I hit some snags in its development... there were a few other things that I saw in your levels that were spot on to what I had in my head as well... Ah well. Great story, great gameplay, and visually stunning... I'll add them to my MGS Tribute List ASAP. Oh, and I only have one complaint... Some of the dialogues ran a bit slowly... I'd possibly look into shortening the time that each set of words is on the screen to speed things up. I found myself rereading parts because I finished reading a line got distracted by something and went back to read the next line only to find out it was still the same one on the screen. Other than that the levels are flawless... Great work.2012-08-30 02:46:00

Thanks forevertuesday, I really appreciate it that you took your time to play the three levels and that you liked all those details I was hoping to make it give the MGS feeling. I am playing your levels right now and they are pretty good!2012-08-30 07:30:00
