I was bored in class a few days ago and I was asking everyone's favorite restraunt, and I was shocked with some of the answers:

Costco Pizza (WTF Man?)
Panera Bread (Is that even considered a restraunt? lol)
About 10 "Red Robins"

Ok, I dont wanna be harsh or anything, but I think I know good food. Costco pizza is good for a lunch one day and you dont really care what you eat, but its your favorite food/restraunt? cmon man. Burger King is better than that.

Panera Bread: I thought this place was just a snack place for sandwiches and stuff. Just kinda shocked how this could be someones favorite restraunts o_________o

Red Robin: Look, Red Robin is OK. Its not great or anything, and Ive tend to had bad service with them the past few times I went. But everyone in my class is all like; OMGOMG WENT TO RED ROBIN LAST NIGHT THEIR BURGERS R AMAZIN OMGOMG and I really wanna scream in their faces that (where I live) there's a burger place 10x better than Red Robin across the street.

Im just kinda disappointed that this decade everyone's favorite restraunt/food is McDonalds chicken nuggets or Fried Chicken from Ralphs.

My favorite restraunts are pizza places in New York. THOSE are good restraunts imo <3		2012-08-27 04:59:00

My favorite fast food place is a deli near my house that makes super delicious sandwiches that I probably spent hundreds on in the past few years. I don't really have a favorite restaurant though, due in part to being incredibly spoiled in terms of really really REALLY good food.

There are fine reasons why people could care about the choices others make within their diet. It's not always just some pointless survey.
But yeah, throughout my life, I've heard people talking about the same places (depending on where they lived). It's not like they have the time to go to Alaska to get some salmon with a bear as a waiter though. I guess it's just "the best in town" sort of thing. Honestly though, no matter where you are, there has to be better food out there than McDonalds.		2012-08-27 16:50:00

Fast food places dont even count as restaurants, or as having food for that matter. (Unless its Raising Canes <3)

I dislike all fast-food... Just seems to me 10 years later you just don't get the same amount of fries as you used too and the quality is just disgusting! Subway isn't that bad... Plus for the $20 I'd almost spend on grease food I'd rather order some Chinese that tastes better, isn't grease and MSG included is 100% healthier! As far actual restaurants... Again for me 10 years later you just don't get the same amount and quality just isn't there anymore! Now that I've delayed an answer... There's a Chinese place where I'm from called Dragon Fort that over all is quantity and quality for a decent price!2012-08-28 07:36:00

But yea, fast food's bad but I eat it sometimes. My favorite place to eat is Jersey Mikes, mmm Google it.

While I agree with the fact that having a fast food joint as your favorite restaurant is absolutely ridiculous, I don't agree that to like fast food you must have never eaten real food. C'mon, fast food's decent when you're just out to get a bite. It's the American way! >:O

But that's the beauty of it all, isn't it? So much food from so many restaurants from so many walks of life from so many cultures from so many parts of the world. The best part is that you get to pick your own favorite. Me? I personally prefer the Brazilian stuff. <3		2012-08-29 04:06:00

fast food is where you get decent food while you have to go to a certain area to go so you won't spend time about 30 minutes on real food and eat it for maybe 15-30 minutes and you are late by 45 minutes - 1 hour. i perfer burgerking over MD cause they make better food and take about 2-3 minutes while MD gives you a almost uncooked burger in 2 seconds. anyway my favorite restruant got to be... outback. red robins? never been there even though i wanted to try it but my parents never let me go there for no reason. i do hate red robins "YUM" in commercials. they could do better with the catchprase.2012-08-29 05:02:00

If we are talking about restaurants, we don't have very many restaurants that are common in the US (like Red Robin, Outback, Red Lobster etc). In fact, the only two restaurants in my hometown that are common in the US are IHOP and Chili's. We have a lot of weird ones like Jalapeno Tree and Cotton Patch. With all these unique restaurants, I prefer full service dining (restaurants) over quick service dining (fast food).2012-08-29 05:20:00

I personally hate fast food. I'm sure everybody who eats there is stupid because only stupid people like fast food, it's a fact. I break into fast food joints in the dead of night and pour snot and earwax into the burgers or whatever and then the next day I laugh at all the people vomiting and say stuff like "that's what you get when you have no taste!" and "you should eat REAL food, like me! You're all so unhealthy and fat!" and then I torch the place and laugh at these poor non-rich people as they try to escape. Deserve it for eating at Wendy's.
When I want to eat, I fly to France and go to my favorite spot in the rich and fashionable part of Paris, called Le Snobbish D**che. I then order the degustation which consists of 346 platters of small amounts of various types of endangered species, drizzled in a sauce flavored with peasants (both types). If I see the waiter (which means he failed miserably) I whack him with a plate then when he asks to take my order I shove a wine bottle filled with expensive wine (I really don't care how it tastes as long as it's expensive) up his nose and complain in a soft voice to the manager. I usually ask for anti-ketchup on my food.
I also persecute people who don't believe in the same god as me and get into long and tiresome fights on the comments sections of YouTube videos. So there's that.		2012-09-01 00:22:00

1. Le crap! I only joined lbpcentral because I thought everybody here was rich! All this LBP stuff was just a bonus! I was duped, you're all not rich! Wow, I can already smell the lack of expensive perfumes through the iSmell hooked up to my computer. If this is really the case, I'm leaving. I don't want to be around unrich people.
2. Those people are totally dumb to not believe everything I believe. The truth is so obviously in their face and I'm so rich that they must be crazy to not believe me. They should all be sent to the moon and have to eat freeze-dried crackers.

Maybe you're misjudging your classmates. When my grandmother told me about her favorite restaurant (about one year ago), she ran over a dozen of places, from Thailand, Greece, Canada, R?union, Martinique (and from some other overseas departments of France). She ate snails, caviar, salmon roe, puree, turtle soup, and a stack of other expensive dishes that I will neither be able to afford nor to eat up without bringing them up. But still, she's been to an butt-load of countries, and those places seemed to be top-notch to her, so I just nodded, hoping she wouldn't fix me a meal with turtle and make it out to be chicken!

As for me, I don't eat out very often. Maybe I don't have the means (I'm 18), or maybe I just prefer to stay home and eat with my family. I haven't been to many restaurants, but one of my favorite is a Chinese restaurant that's about two miles from my house. Food is excellent, but what I liked so much are the moments I spent there with my mother and some friends of mine. Better restaurants surely exist somewhere else, and I surely don't know them yet, but what's important is what you do in there, who you're eating with.

As you took the liberty of chatting in class with friends and ask them about their favorite restaurants, I suppose you're not in college yet. You and your friends are probably young, so it's hardly unusual for young people to enjoy fast-food nights out. Cheap and fast. Young people can have a decent meal there, and have a good time too.		2012-09-02 18:42:00

I love fighting! It's just feels so satisfying to punch somebody in the face especially if their poor. I usually just go into soup kitchens and throw soup into the faces of hobos and when they try to wipe off the soup I kick them in the face and blow a raspberry. And I agree with you! No, not about France, but about disliking an entire country due to the leader's politics you don't agree with! I swear, if a country's leaders do something I don't like I swear I will punch all the citizens in the stomach and torch all their granaries and destroy every structure except for the government buildings (cuz their RICH).

We go from questioning if fast food is actual "food" to the diplomatic relationships between France and Iran. Nice one, guys. -_-

I think some fast food is good, and I cook my own meals. Sometimes I'd rather have a nice large fry and McFlurry from McDonald's than a multi-herb salad with a fine Italian vinaigrette, or a Baconator from Wendy's over a locally owned, 4-star vegan restaurant that serves fresh-from-the-fields produce that's just down the street; I've even chosen In-N-Out over fine dining before! Am I guilty? Probably, but only cuz I'm fat. But, *******, some chains get their food right, and I'm not ashamed for eating it. Teens choose fast food because, and I'll be honest, it's what we mostly eat. We're so dang busy with schoolwork and other things that we don't have time to wait, so fast food provides a much-needed service. Plus throw in the amount of hours most chains are open for and overall convenience, and I'm not surprised that some kids elect fast food joints as their faves.

About that first sentence, yeah, I was the one who brought up that relationship, but just to make connections to Kalawishis post. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't even go there. Besides, he even made a thread a long time ago that nobody can forget.

I see your opinion on fast food, and yes, teens like to eat a lot because they work a lot. You're very lucky because you have in-n-out burgers at your place. I have Whataburger at my place.

I now get what the first post means. People liking Costco Pizza as their favorite fast food? That's very uncommon, but it is rediculous. It appears that nobody likes fast food wherever DominationMags lives.		2012-09-03 09:00:00
