LBP Hub-LBP.me App for the iPhone!-NOW OUT!

Hi! Figured I'll post this for people with iPhones (Or iPad's,I have both ),A very nice way to browse LBP.me on the go...

It's NOT out yet,But when apple accept it you should find it in your AppStore (For FREE off-course)

EDIT:It's now available in the AppStore for free! Works great

Sony... you are ******* me off...

This is NOT made be sony,It's made by a privet developer,To make an app for the vita he would have to get a license to put apps in the PSN which would cost way to much for a PRIVET developer,While with the iphone all you have to do is 100$ to get the program that you make apps with,And then email it o apple and see it in the appstore in a week.


Wonder if it will work on old iPods.

It doesn't seem like it would require strong hardware like new apple device have to work,It is just text in a pretty bubble.		2012-08-26 12:05:00

I'm not saying THIS guy should make the app. I'm saying Sony, Media Molecule, Playstation..or whoever.. should make an OFFICIAL version for the vita. I tried logging onto LBP.me using my vita's web browser...it was a mess. It would be a perfect app to add to the PSN.

I think that after LBP vita release it will be more comfortable to use LBP.me feaures in game itself.

As for PS3 levels - on my Vita all LBP.me features work fine right now. Font a little bit small, but all texts are readable.		2012-08-26 16:48:00

Looks great! I don't own an iPhone though.

I can browse lbp.me on my vita's browser no problem.

Ah, this little gem is the brainchild of none other than amazingflyingpoo. He is continuing to work with Apple to get this published on the App Store, but if any of you have tried stuff like this before you will know that Apple is about as slow as molasses moving uphill in January. 2012-08-28 00:03:00

Tom/Taffey has said most of the things that I would have wanted to say in response to what has been said in this thread, but I did want to mention that Sony is making it easier for independent developers to make apps for the Vita. A developer can set up their own Playstation Mobile account for $100 (same as the Apple price) to create apps for Vita and Playstation app supporting phones.

Yep...I've said that Sony should really put more effort into to making the PSN for the vita a little more "AppStore like"a long time ago...
But i don't think they can just "Steal" Google play (That's the new name of the Market AKA: Android store)
Maybe they could have done that when it was very "Open sourced" for everyone to use what ever they when from it,But now Android is owned by Google and i don't think Sony is gonna wanna deal with a BIG BIG Lew suit for stealing...
although,I think that Sony IS trying to make her little "AppStore" Does playstation mobile rings any bell?
And it's playable on Android too...


Make that iPhone apps too!

I can certainly see how all of this could be confusing since I would have missed it all if I hadn't happened to notice a Tweet about it. I believe that the reason you aren't seeing lots of apps like you would expect is that the independent development side of things (with the $100 developer accounts) is still in beta. This means that people are developing apps for Vita right now, but none can go live yet. That means that whenever the beta ends you may suddenly see a decent influx of apps

They won't, or else Vita would become yet another Android device. Console hardware manufacture makes most profit from software licencing (thats why for example PS3 was sold with loss for many years and survived!), thats why platfroms are closed and more open solutions are handicaped to give more for those who pay.		2012-08-29 12:54:00
