To record with the PS-Eye? Probably lead to some copy-right infringement....

EDIT:

oh record in game stuff...

well either way, it'd have to be pretty low quality or else it'd slow down loading quite a bit

Yeah, I can't possibly recreate an MM level without this feature, right? Look at all the little videos there are in the first levels!2009-01-11 04:16:00

If you had patience you could do a stop motion, and use a few emitters... 2009-01-11 04:36:00

Not a bad idea, though I would prefer a record feature to be in game for more purposes then putting it in levels. I also wish there was a commentary option.

Sigh... Ok, to do this, would probably be more then the thermometer can handle >_<.

It's not a question of copyright really, it's the fact that there's really no way it can be put in and play an entire sequence not already installed on your disc and actually make it not overload the thermometer >_<.

It would take a whole lot more than a few, and with emitters, the video would be the entire level.

I'd love to have this idea, but I just think it would ruin levels in the end.

People would record other people's levels and such, and maybe claim them as their own. There's of course a lot more problems than this though.

I love this idea though, without the issues, as I would love to demonstrate some tutorials and such. I'm guessing I've just undermined the whole thing and this post is not very accurate at all.

Brilliant idea.

Not to sound rude or anything... but how would filming someone else's level help them claim that it's theirs? :l

Like I said, my previous comment is not really valid. Forget it, I love this idea ^^2009-01-17 14:42:00

I thought we could record our own film sequences when I saw the monitors in official levels... That might be impossible, but we can always try our best to create fun cutscenes and stuff to help players without it!! (and die trying)2009-01-20 18:04:00
