Apparently new costume packs for LittleBigPlanet Karting are already being made. According to an email from Sony (Netherlands) we'll be able to get our hands on 3 costumes based on The Pirates! Band of Misfits characters. You get the DLC code for free with the movie's DVD or Bluray, set for release in September, though you'll have to wait until November for LBP Karting's actual release, of course. It does not mention if the costumes will also be for sale separately, or if they'll work with games other than LBP Karting. Also, haven't found a web source to confirm it yet. DLC will indeed be given away with selected Blu-Ray copies of the movie. We will also be releasing the DLC on the PlayStation Store at a later date. (Won't be too long! Promise!) All future Costume DLC will work across LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting for the forseeable future. So that naturally includes this particular collection of costumes. More details will be posted on Sack it to Me on Monday!

In Russia bonus for LBP karting preoder is Nightmare Before Christmas DLC (Jack Skellington Costume/Kart) (link (http://www.softclub.ru/personal/preorder/lbp-karting/Default.aspx)). I didn't find any info about this DLC in the web. Steven, do you know something about it?

Hate to be a spoilsport here but I sure hope time being invested in DLC before a game is even out wont ruin the experience for the most loyal LBP'ers who like me will be some of the first to be buying, I am however now abit cautious of the idea of getting it straight away, I bought MNR on release day and the online was totally unusable, I sure hope LBPK will be somewhat more ready and that the time wasn't wasted by trying to make extra money off gamers. Personal opinion Mm are some of the best game devs in the world, However I think UFG are down there with the worst. Hope that made some sense I am half asleep.

I assume they'll just put a DLC code in the movie case, that you won't be able to use in the PSN store until LBP Karting is out. So yeah, sort of like preorder DLC.

Again, all future LittleBigPlanet Costume DLC will work on LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting. So the moment that you receive your voucher, you will be able to redeem it and use the new costumes in LittleBigPlanet 2. Then later this year you will be able to download the content again for both LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting at no extra cost.

Agreed. I've heard Sleeping Dogs is horrible, Road Trip makes me want to throw my Vita out a window, and Karting beta was just really bad! Actually Sleeping Dogs got an 8.5 from IGN so it can't be that horrible. I don't think any studio is BAD at making games(with a few exceptions), it's just that some are more experienced than others. MNR is probably one of my top games on PS3. UFG live and breathe kart racing games so I believe that LBP Karting's final build will be much better... The beta was pretty lackluster but they got a lot of feedback from the fans.

Yeah, so, if any of you are skeptical about watching/buying this movie, don't be. It's definitely up there with Wallace & Gromit, and is much better than Chicken Run (In my personal opinion). So this DLC definitely makes it worth buying!

You don't think any studio is bad? I beg to differ. Capcom released Dead Rising 2 a SECOND TIME with the promised extra content that we were supposed to get in the ORIGINAL Dead Rising 2. Not to mention they do it with almost all their games (Super Duper Street Fighter IV) So... screw you Capcom...

It was pretty odd seeing the absence of the claymation look, so to see it again here is nice. ^^ I went to see Arthur Christmas last November and let's just say I was in the Christmas mood far too early xD It's not the best animated movie but it has has some really nice bits in it : ) and its a must watch round late december! and yeah you should definitely give Pirates a watch, I love Chicken Run and its defo up there with it, really good fun! Anywho I'll shut up now, glad they've finally released those renders, get to see everyone's impressions!
