Metal Gear Chopper!

Archive: 3 posts

This is my first REAL attempt at making a decent level with a boss! The Boss is a giant helicopter that you have to figure out how to beat with your paintgun. (Hint: the front most layer is the most dangerous in this level, when in doubt, move to middle or back layer).

Will Sack be able to save Otacon in time? or will he pay the ultimate price...

I spent long enough on the boss that it is worth taking the time to get to him. As in the DLC metal gear content, be sure to stay out of the spot lights! But dont worry, once you activate the security systems, they turn off after 7 seconds or so.

Check it out and I'll check out yours! please leave feeedback and I plan on improving it.

This was a pretty good level.

I liked most of it, but you could of improved some spots. Everything that was custom-made was very good. The chopper was great, except it was very easy to kill. Maybe add more shots to the switches, so its harder, and add another weapon doing something else. The textures were pretty good, and the builds were too.

I really don't like it when people use objects from Story Mode. You had several of those, which you should get rid of and switch with custom-made things. It was kinda creepy when you had to kill Otacon by pulling the switch, and blowing his head off... lol. Also, when you die from the Chopper, sometimes it spawn-shoots you, so you lose several lives.

It was a short, yet sweet, level, that deserves 5 stars. Good Job!

Thanks man. I will try to swap out some of those story enemies with custom ones. I'll add a bit more to the chopper too. I just wasnt sure how hard of a time people would have with it the first time since I've played it so much.2009-01-10 23:57:00
