http://i56.tinypic.com/2dbs7ex.jpg Welcome one and all to the latest episode of the Community Spotlight ? a collection of the most magnificent, awesome and just plain fun levels! There?s something for everyone in this episode, so get online and give them a go! PS3 Spotlight http://i1.lbp.me/img/bl/c61014841da3338bf56ea430ace8e6fc74846645.pngBearry Button's Mansion : rule the roof (part 3)Z1091990 : : 1-2 PLAYER ONLY: : : READ DESCRIPTION : : : DIFFICULT : MEDIUM : : bearry button got maybe the biggest collection of buttons in whole craftworld but he lost his favourite button can you help him to it back!? special thanks to karrades and se-mi92 for her help .... I was happier than a kid in a candy store when I saw that the third installment in this series was published. I've been loving this tale since the beginning and have to say that they just keep getting better and better. Z1091990 has a knack of keeping the story fresh and the gameplay exciting. This chapter introduces us to a new platforming mechanic where we fire the creatinator at chalkoutlines and the exact device needed to progress is magically created right before our "beary" eyes! This is a fantastic romp through a charming environment and I can't say enough good things about it. Go out and queue this level!Ah, Bearry Button my old friend. I?m so glad to see you?ve come back for another show! Z1091990 has created a beautiful masterpiece for the third part of their wonderful Bearry Button series. All of the gameplay is focused on just one layer, using emitted gadgets, platforms and obstacles at strategic places. You?d think that sort of gameplay would be on the slow side, but nope! After just a few tries, you soon start whizzing along through the level, probably letting out a big ?WHEEEE!? noise while you?re at it. I loved every second!Like a good wine, some things just get better with age and the longer this level series goes on the better it gets. The latest chapter in this tale of button-related woe is just superb. It's packed with inventive platforming and clever ideas. The creatinator device which Bearry helpfully gives you fires out not just floating platforms but all sorts of neat contraptions to get you from A to B in imaginative and sometimes unexpected ways. Timing is key, though, because like many magical things these devices will disappear from under your feet as quickly as they arriv...oops! A level as delightful and filled with good things as a vintage sewing box - so lift the lid and delve in now! http://ie.lbp.me/img/bl/6cef21f0c38472298c642be699f34cd5c8f4eef8.pngSticke rix! Mnniska Tired of running and jumping about aimlessly? Take a break and make a sticker masterpiece in this multiplayer minigame! - Best played with 3-4 sacks. Thanks to @WeirdyBeardy for the music, and @Mirrorsun, @ToykyoMegaplex & @JplusK for helping out with the different paint themes. UPDATE: New community pack out now! What can I say? Everytime I see a level by Mnniska, I get a little smile on my face. I can?t help it - I just know it's going to be wonderful! Stickerix is certainly no exception to this rule - A charming multiplayer game, playing on the recent popularity of games like Doodle or Die, Draw Something, and Drawception, Stickerix uses the tools already found in LBP to engage in a little caption doodle game of your own! Bringing along friends just multiplies the fun - play with four people for the best possible experience, and compare each other?s masterpieces!Rarely is there ever a level published that can stand out so much from the rest of the bunch. Mnniska has succeeded in delivering a wonderful level to help unwind after so many platformers and games. Challenging players to think creatively with their arsenal of stickers is the name of the game here. The players are given a specific topic, and are then taken to their blank canvas to make their masterpieces. Hop in this one if your looking for a one-of-a-kind experience. It's a total blast with 4 players too! http://ia.lbp.me/img/bl/06a2d27edba2e5e33bf3c8dd22d623acde2207bc.pngAir Hockey (1p Vs Com) / (1p Vs 2p) (vers. 1.2.0) ricksnun(Updated: score system added on) Hello everyone, welcome to the best air hockey level in lbp. this can be played against Com or another player. amazingly graphics and playability, choose from 3 levels of difficulty and 2 different tables. please leave feedback as it's very important for future updates and improvements. A new feature will be added soon, enjoy.. Now there have been many Air Hockey tables created in Little Big Planet and most of them look and play the same. This one here though, does a fine job of separating itself from the pack. First there are three difficulty settings to choose from, so whether you are the novice player or the pro, there is a setting for you. Then we have two distinct tables to play, both uniquely different and both sporting cool designs. You can play the table solo and fight it out against a great computer opponent or bring along a friend and duel till the end. Either way, you'll have a blast playing this game!Plink! Plonk! Plink! PLANG!! Wait... Whut? Did the AI just pull a feint on me?? I gotta try this again... Plink! Plonk! PLANG! Oh. My. God. It's beautiful! ricknun?s level really stands head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to the ever-loved Air Hockey table. Besides it's fantastic visuals, tight gameplay and painless menu system, the AI is probably the best I've seen in this kind of level. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but I?d like to think so! Incredibly fun! http://i2.lbp.me/img/bl/692dc221c3e02dc2db158b7af7a48ee7527d9f1e.pngPULSET heNotorious-187DANGER DANGER!! a new silhouette platformer from Notorious Productions, level is easier if you use an illuminated costume... but hardcore gamers play in total silhouette! which are you? (MUSIC BY FLYINGPOTAOMAN) special thanks to ChrisD-Destroyer, RtooDee2 and all The Ghost Creators for help, feedback and testing. (ONE PLAYER recommend due to lag) (UPDATED - elevator section shortened) Whoa! I don't even know where to begin with this one. SpaceMonkey/Notorious187 has been steadily outdoing himself with each new level he publishes. I seriously don't know how much more "awesome" I can take from this guy! We are dropped into a stunning neon silhouette level that will just leave your mouth agape the entire time you're in it. FlyingPotatoMan has mixed some serious beats for this epic platformer and you'll soon be tapping your toes and nodding your head as you run, jump, swing and bounce your way to the scoreboard. The gameplay is phenomenal! It is very well balanced with a great mixture of challenging obstacles and classic platforming. The visuals are what really knock it out of the park though. You have got to see this. Just queue it, queue it now. When it comes to platformers with a heavy focus on music, I?ll enjoy most genres. But one thing that just seems to work with this theme is the melodic, soothing WUB WUB WUB of a little drum and bass. No, no dear player, don't jump up and down in excitement. This is melancholy music of meditation, intended only for relaxation and... Ah, heck with it! WUB-jump-WUB-hop-WUB! A fantastic level with tonnes of eye candy and a pumping soundtrack - I guarantee you will not be able to keep your feet still! http://i0.lbp.me/img/bl/200671fa12b9e9d6ab0f5b6755d2d4aad40b511d.pngBrain Hemmorage (Platformer 1P ONLY)Alley_Cat_8633Fast paced platformer. Try to get the best time possible. -- Special Thanks to L1ghtmare for the logic help, Comphermc for the fonts, and Festerd_Jester for the awesome music track. Hope you all enjoy it. Alleycat proves once again that he is one of the best creators around with this outstanding, albeit challenging, foray into a fast paced platforming genre. Oops! I almost forgot my customary "Whoa!" This level certainly deserves it. The level is aptly named "Brain Hemmorage" for a reason, because there are parts that will really test your mental fortitude. It's quite fun though and is just filled with tons of amazing contraptions to propel you through this facility. Whoa indeed Alleycat. Whoa, indeed.I adore a level which throws me around like a ragdoll, throwing me through teeny little gaps, propelling me towards a solid wall, and whipping me over to a spinning grab-sponge so fast that my cute little cotton eyeballs get pushed into the back of my skull. This is one of those creations. Alleycat consistently entertains me with his creations, each one more honed and spectacular than the last - if you haven?t seen his work yet, shame on you! Head over to check this one out, right away! http://i5.lbp.me/img/bl/c55ad37c0e0f8cca7de64afedd99c4443883b037.pngTeam Test Center : Test your team work skillsD4RKSM0K3HUNT3RThis is my PLCC4 level. use the key to make a way to your freedom .you need good teamwork in this level, and smart brains. some parts are hard and tricky ! Big thanks for helping / mcdonald1967 / Zippopot / bikerider12 / Skullking266 / Bootje13 This level absolutely lives up to its title. It's a true test of coop skills...and friendship...so choose your partner carefully (mine took a perverse pleasure in dropping me into various hazards but that?s another story!). You and your friend (or so-called friend in my case) find yourselves in a test centre and your only way out lies in taking a key through various ingenious obstacles to the exit. The coop puzzles are varied and cleverly designed to get you thinking and working together. They?re also genuinely innovative. One outstanding section involved a unique use of grappling hooks by both players...I can?t say any more without spoilers so just take my word for it! Slick, impressive visuals and a cool atmosphere top the whole thing off nicely. All in all this level is a pleasure to play and you?ll get a real sense of satisfaction at making it through to the end.I had a similar experience to Shropshirelass, though in my case, I went in with an under qualified person...my daughter, who hasn't played Little Big Planet in a very long time. Hilarity and frustration ensued as we attempted to make our way through the facility. The both of us oohed and aahed at the craftsmanship of our surroundings. We both let out a collective, "Whoa" and proceeded on our way. The teamwork aspect of the level is just grand. You will encounter a wide variety in clever obstacles that will test your ability to work together to achieve a common goal. Brilliant level that you simply must see, just be careful on whom you chose as a partner. http://i0.lbp.me/img/bl/410d012ee405f7c1f2070263177a916ac072ec57.png"]Waterfall RuinsPYROTROOPER91A magical walk through waterfalls and great visuals. Difficulty: Average. Have fun, hope you enjoy. Music by @comishguy67 This is another one of those scenic levels where every once in a while you just have to stop and take in your surroundings. I fell in love with the beauty of this level and had a nice tranquil romp to the scoreboard. There are a few spots where the gameplay can be a little tricky if you don't watch your footing, but it is a nice blend of gorgeous visuals and fun platforming. It almost made me want to live there, it looks so good, but alas I wouldn't fit through my TV. Grab your cameras and take a scenic tour of the Waterfall Ruins. Both the gameplay and the visuals in this level pack a fair old punch! You?re hit first with the visuals as you enter a craggy gorge hung with lush greenery and find yourself face to face with an ancient ? and very colourful ? totem. But don't spend too much time enjoying the gorgeous scenery or the gameplay will soon have you floored. There are spikes and fiery hazards aplenty to be negotiated on your journey through the Waterfall Ruins and you?ll need your wits about you and some fancy footwork to get through. A knock-out combination! http://ia.lbp.me/img/bl/5aa69b45a40f80c4504632060d99184ec6c3e123.pngHeavy Gun Turret KarradesTry to survive all Waves. Can you defeat all Enemys? Musik by MM-Studio and @Festerd_Jester I had to let out a long "Daaaaaaang" when I first saw this one. Wow, this is like no other "tower" defense game I've ever seen! I was floored with the design first of all. It has a very sci-fy futuristic feel to it, especially when you start encountering some of the later enemies. Speaking of enemies, sheesh, I don't know that I've ever seen such a variety of targets in any Little Big Planet level! Wave after wave just kept coming and then new enemies are dispatched and you have to figure out which of your three types of weapons is best suited for each one. It gets quite harrowing! Awesome level that you simply must play.Aha! Cool! It's a sci-fi turret game. Oh wait, I don't place the turrets? The enemies come to me..? Oh... I?d better get shooting then. Bang! Hah! You?re dust little probe-type-guy!! Boom! Err.. there sure are a lot of them now, aren?t there? I mean.. woah! Dude, there?s a mini-mini-boss, right there. Argh! Now a bigger one... and another... What gun do I use? Bomb? Lazer? Pew-pew-pew? HELP!! http://ib.lbp.me/img/bl/ccb711922d528d83b551f43fab2e96c8edb2bbc0.pngBottom of the Shaft (1 Player Highly Recommended)LakeraYou pressed all buttons of the elevator and now you got stuck in the weird metal complex. Can you find your way out or do you have to eat rats rest of your life? Awesome music made by nk827. Well, you've gone and done it now. Gotten yourself stuck in the bottom of some strange factory. Whatever shall you do? For starters, watch out for the weird guy that pops up, he ain't quite right. But he does point us in the right direction and so off we go. My initial reaction upon entering this facility was that it favored the Bunker from LBP1, but a few short steps later, I realized that this was another beast entirely. Beastly in a good, this is some freakin' great platforming kinda way. The gameplay element were a great joy to play on as there are loads of cool contraptions and thingamabobs to aid you in your attempt to flee the place. Hop in and see if you can climb your way from the Bottom of the Shaft.First rule of Elevators - Don?t play with the buttons. Second rule of Elevators - Don?t stand on the spikes of death. Oh, wait, they come after the elevators... Lakera has crafted a wonderful level, chock-a-block with plenty of mild peril for you to avoid. Death traps, evil bounce pads, and humongous burning pillars of squishy doom await you as you try to escape. I?m with Bio on the strange little hobo who lives here - he?s probably best avoided!Well, how sane would you be if you?d been stuck down this shaft for as long as he has, hey? If I were in his shoes a mutant beard and a strange addiction to radioactive green goop would be the least of it! So in the full and awful knowledge of what you might become if you don't manage to escape from the bottom of the shaft, get moving! Your path to safety is not an easy one but there won?t be a dull moment as you duck and dive through the innards of the weird complex. Great gameplay comes thick and fast and when you reach the exit you may just be tempted to go back and do it all again. Maybe that hobo is not so mad after all! http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/3163b8ff0f589e3881e420fcbc3d5927ea1cc99b.pngRescue d -:|:- Arcade -:|:- 1 Player MonolithRottenRobSubtitles ON!) Top Down Shooter -:|:- Find your way through the alien ruin and survive hoards of enemies & local fauna! Buy vehicles & turrets, & upgrade weapons! -:|:- 1 Player due to lag issues. Game will not start with more than one player. Game time & game play dramatically increased since part 1 was released, & the assistant hardly talks now if you opt out of the tutorial because he annoys so many of you. What round can you survive to? Thank you to everyone who helped! Credits in my profile Holy Top-Down Bonanza Batman, we?ve got a live one! If you played the previously spotlighted ?Rescued?, also by RottenRob, then you?ll already know you?re in for an amazing top-down experience. Survive as long as you can, slaying gruesome monsters (and trying to avoid hurting your cute little companion - he?s just too adorable to die!) and opening doors to more and more difficult areas. The staggering sets and intricate enemy design will certainly get your jaw to drop! Must be played!Woah (sorry bio) this is again a truly epic level from RottenRob, the first instalment of Rescued was mind blowing when it came out, and this instalment trumps it! The attention to detail is phenomenal and the ideas and concepts are so well executed that you question how it is all possible in LBP. This level is a survival challenge to begin with but quickly opens in scope as you start to gain points. These points need to be spent wisely to upgrade your weapons, open new areas and survive. That's right. You need those points to stay alive, this twist will be sure to amp up any point hound's desire for top score! http://i2.lbp.me/img/bl/922ff895d77479307dd9514b9edf6d69a2f234af.pngParted Pleasures TRacitiMrs. Butterfingers finds herself in a broken situation: Her heads missing! You seem to stumble upon her odd world only to be caught up in the middle of a daring, dangerous task involved with lethal landscape! Playing as a Sackboy, you risk your little ol' life in an adventure that'll pleasure you forever! --- Hard Platformer/Adventure. 1-2 Players Suggested. Reviews Highly Accepted. Well this is something you don't see everyday in the Little Big Planet universe. We've stumbled upon a strange little world where the proprietor has quite literally lost her head! Now we are tasked with locating the neck appendage and let me tell you, it's no easy task. The way is challenging but always fun and has a healthy variety of obstacles to impede the search. Put on your detective hats and head into this kooky environment and see if you can locate that woman's head! Just try and keep yours in the process.Rarely do you see a level with such blatant disregard for grid mode, everything about this level is skewed, even the story. Make you away across uneven ground against a backdrop of catastrophe and tilting camera angles. But it all works, which is the amazing thing about this level, that out of such chaos a cohesive level can be enjoyed! http://ib.lbp.me/img/bl/5db150d941c58e2eb0b5d580ffc9d0eaac29719e.pngThe Old ButterFly Temple of Egypt {1P}D4RKSM0K3HUNT3RWelcome to this old ButterFly Temple, Play this level in your own (1P) its a simpel platformer made it in 6 days, i hope you like it check my other levels out ? updated Smooth layer switching and simple lines make this level flow nicely, you will be flinging yourself around with abandon as you make your way to the end. The simple art style is striking and manages to ooze character at every turn and encourages you to look at your surroundings, who knows ?. maybe you'll find some hidden points!Sometimes less is more and the simplicity of this level is a big part of its charm. The temple setting is beautiful but not in a showy way ? muted, earthy tones, mellow lighting and a few gorgeous background details make it all very easy on the eye. The platforming is from the same mould. There?s nothing flashy but it all flows beautifully as you spin and bounce through the temple on the lookout for secret points bubbles. Add some great set pieces as the walls of the temple shift and crumble around you and throw in a few very appealing (and rather large!) mice and you have a level that will win you over almost unexpectedly with its understated charm.
