Lbp1 lost level plays help!

Archive: 3 posts

Ok so i found a bug in one of my lbp1 levels whilst i was on lbp2 thinking nothing of it i went into create made and rectified it then republished my level. I noticed it no longer had the lbp1 logo above it so i loaded up lbp1 and went to look for it but it was gone from my lbp1 world! I wouldnt have minded had it not been my most popular level from this i lost all trace of it on lbp1 losing 12000+ plays i had accumulated over time. The lbp2 version still has all the hearts on but i lost all the lbp1 plays which is a bummer because ive never gotten over that amount of plays! Can anyone help to get them back?

Nope. Once you overwrite an LBP1 publish in LBP2, it becomes an LBP2 publish.
The only way to get the level back on LBP1 would be to start up the LBP1 game, find the level on your moon, fix whatever was broken (Again) and then publish it as a new level. LBP2 levels cannot be overwritten while playing LBP1.

If the level is no longer on your LBP1 moon, then I'm afraid the level is lost from that game permanently, and will only ever be availalbe in LBP2.
And as for playcount info and such, those can't be transfered from one published level to another, so there's nothing you can do about that.

This has happened to quite a few people. Could have very easily been avoided if there was a warning that updating from LBP2 will remove it from LBP1.
